My job transferred me to S. Florida to work. While I look for apartments, I'm staying at an extended stay hotel (that happens to be roach infested) where I pay weekly . I expressed an interest in staying here for 6+ mos (it IS a hotel so nothing is in writing) & am now told that I have to leave in 3 days because a woman who cancelled her reservation now has UN-cancelled her reservation.... probibly a bull-crap story. I don't know the real reason I am being kicked out. I suspect it may have something to do with the roach problem... possibly the need to fumigate or inspection or something. If I go back to my home state, I'd be leaving my job. This hotel is not only depriving me of a home, but they are causing me to lose my job!

I'd like some legal advice... Is there anywhere I can go... just to stay here in S. Florida (so I can keep my job)? Can Social Services help me? Shelters? Should I talk to a lawyer about this? Where should I go right now? If u know law, please answer.

go door to door in the United States demanding the firearms of all the citizenry? It has already happened in New Orleans after Katrina. That was a test. A test of the military's willingness and of the people's compliance.

It will very likely happen again on a grand scale. I hope those who have sworn to uphold the Constitution of the United States (all military and law enforcement personnel) will remember their oath and recognize an unlawful order when they receive it.

Prepare yourselves for the second revolution.

You are on a battlefield… you must save your comrades that are behind enemy lines. Except for one thing—you might not come out. You might get caught. Do you retreat back to base or do you save your comrades as this may be your last chance but last time if you don’t come out.

I have two brothers, an uncle, and my fiancee in the U.S. Military. One of my brothers is currently serving in Iraq. "Support The Troops" is a very popular slogan but can you really support the troops without supporting the war? What does support the troops really mean? The troops don't decide to go to war. They're ordered by the Commander-In-Chief (the President). Could supporting the troops mean bringing them back home? I certainly support that. Is that slogan just being used to make people actually support the war? Please let me know your thoughts.

Walt and Mearsheimer in their paper titled "The Israel Lobby and US Foreign Policy", examined the role of the Israel lobby in determining US foreign policy. Considering Israel receives $3 billion in aid from the United States, which constitutes one fifth of the total US aid budget, and that Israel is a wealthy state with a per capita income comparable to Spain, how does one justify the huge amount of US aid sent to Israel each year? Is such a close relationship between the US and Israel a result of the Israel Lobby influencing US foreign and security policy or is another factor responsible?

If I do join the Marines, I want to try to make sure that I join for the right reason. My family is totally against me joining the military because they think that schooling is enough to get me a decent job but I think that if I join the Marines then I will have a greater opportunity to become something that I want to become then just whatever. I am a person that really doesn't think that the government is right or fair but the government is just a government another thing that ties into this is that if I don't respect the government then will I respect the United States? I want to join the Marines or a military for these reasons: 1) I want to have a great opportunity in life to become something that I want to be and have a decent job so I can one day afford living for my family and myself, 2) I want to get into great and awesome shape and I think the Marines/military can get me that way, I have always wanted a body that was as close as to machine as I can get it. Thanks for your help!

I have a canadian passport and Im planning to go back and try to enter US but Im bringing with me the receipt of my application I-140
but I have doubts whether this receipt is enough to prove to them of my employment and Im safe enough to enter US without questions.

Griffin, if I'm not mistaken, has stood as a candidate in council/parliamentary elections, yet has a conviction for holocaust denial. I'm sure there are many others also (I don;t choose him to make a political point, just because he;s the only one I can think of.) Obviously, Bobby Sands couldn;t sit in the Comons but I thought that was purely because he was in jail at the time?
