Griffin, if I'm not mistaken, has stood as a candidate in council/parliamentary elections, yet has a conviction for holocaust denial. I'm sure there are many others also (I don;t choose him to make a political point, just because he;s the only one I can think of.) Obviously, Bobby Sands couldn;t sit in the Comons but I thought that was purely because he was in jail at the time?

Convicts must not be given a chance to serve in government because they will commit wrongdoings as recidivists.
