This may not be the information you WANT, but it is accurate and correct.

As of 2004, California law requires that all persons under the age of 18 be enrolled at least part time in school, unless they have already graduated high school AND passed the exit examinations.

So in order to drop out in California, you must be 18. If you drop out before that, you are considered truant and CPS will be all over your family's behind.

you cant just give up like that, there's an answer to bullying: silence. Just ignore it and be a tattle-tale if you have to. Dropping out is going to hurt you and make you look like a loser, prove that you are better than the bully and get over his/her problems. You may think that the world is out to get you and that they all say the same thing, but maybe you hear the same thing because that is what is true and right. Dropping out may make you feel good now but you'll regret it greatly later in life, guaranteed.

i do not stay in California yet in my state (Ohio) you may drop out at any age as long as your parent signs and indicators a spread agreeing to the drop out. in case your over 18 you may signal it your self. i might want to advise conversing on your college consuler.

Before you go dropping out...lgo to McDonalds and see what type of work you are going to be doing.

As far as the getting bullied part...get a lawyer and sue the hell out of all those involved.
