I was told that the 9th Circuit Court ruled that homosexual Mexicans are entitled to refugee status in the United States. Is this true? Does anyone know where I can find a news story about it?

Gay Mexican granted asylum after long battle

A U.S. immigration judge granted a Mexican immigrant asylum, citing his sexual orientation and the severe persecution of gays in Mexico, the man's lawyer said Tuesday.
Jorge Soto Vega, 38, said he had suffered harassment and violence from family members and authorities in Mexico because he is gay.
According to court documents, while living in Guadalajara, Soto Vega was beaten by police and then robbed, called anti-gay slurs, and told that he would be killed if he was ever seen again.
In 1988, Soto Vega paid a smuggler to sneak him into the United States, and he settled in the Hollywood and Silver Lake areas of Los Angeles. In 2001, Soto Vega returned from a brief visit to Mexico after his mother's death, during which he said he was afraid to go outside. He filed an application for asylum the next year.

Actually in my area there are mucho mucho illegal aliens that wish to be call Day Laborers but they are really Male Mexican Postitutes aka Gay Laborers. Competition has driven their prices down to next to nothing. Heckling and Cat calling out to their Latino Johns at major traffic intersections has become a huge problem. They are only poseing as workers when they are really turning tricks. Passing diseases and God knows they pull down their pants and defecate where ever they want to. This is a sick sick situation that going on these days in America.

i dont know if that is true. but i just wonder how many tricks is the US going to fall for. any mexican can claim they are gay. and homosexuals are discriminated against worldwide. does this mean the US will accept gays from all over? america is the land of the great but we are just so gullible.

Yes it just happened today what have they done now. Guess pretty some all illegal immigrants will claim gaydom. It is definitely true and they are not going to appeal it so he's here for good.
