Teddy Roosevelt. He was not only a great president but he was a true Renaissance man. He cleaned up corruption in his home state and tried to in the country. He oversaw the construction of the Panama canal, charged up San Juan Hill, loved nature and the outdoors, and set it up for America to become a super power.

Honorable mention- Abraham Lincoln- brought the country back together in it's darkest hour, things would've been much better in the American South for both blacks and whites if Lincoln's plan for Reconstruction was implemented instead of the Radicals'.

Benjamin Franklin. I believe he would have made a great president. He was highly intelligent, a geat ambassador, well spoken, and had an unmatched love for his country. He seems to me to be a man we could use at this time. Oh, then again, his personal life would have kept him out.
