Our government/courts are giving automatic citizenship to babies born on US soil even though both parents are illegals. They are using the interpretation of the 14th Amendment to give these babies citizenship rights. However, the purpose of the 14th Amendment was to grant citizenship to newly released slaves and their children. The Amendment specifically states that if a person is a citizen of another country, and they give birth on US soil, the child's citizenship is that of the parent/parents. Do you believe that the 14th Amendment needs revised so that it is interpreted and applied properly? Do you feel that the babies born to illegals should automatically gain US citizenship and rights?

How to tell Republicans from Democrats


Democrats buy most of the books that have been banned somewhere. Republicans form censorship committees and read them as a group.


Democrats give their worn out clothes to those less fortunate. Republicans wear theirs.

Democrats name their children after currently popular sports figures, politicians, and entertainers. Republican children are named after their parents or grandparents, according to where the money is.

Republicans tend to keep their shades drawn, although there is seldom any reason why they should. Democrats ought to, but don't.

Republican boys date Democratic girls. They plan to marry Republican girls, but feel that they're entitled to a little fun first.

Democrats make plans and then do something else. Republicans follow the plans their grandfathers made.

Republicans sleep in twin beds--some even in separate rooms. That is why there are more Democrats.

I sometimes used the indivdual mil. meals on my own civ mil battle fronts and some times there where girls with me and I would give them the military meals every girl said it has a hate chemical in it to kill women. Im a guy I thought it was ok but they always complain it did some thing against their estrogen.

those crazy liberals on the west coast broke off and formed there own country. i mean u don't agree with them anyaway, you think liberals are bad, so would it be bad if the west coast liberals decided that they didn't want to be part of america and broke away.
this is jusy hypothetical, but remeber russia broke away into it's core, so it is possible the same could happen in america.
so would conservatives be happy if all the liberals migrated west broke off and started there own country.

and if you'd be mad why?
and for the record the west coast has barley been in US possesion.

So regardless of your political leanings, and the political rammafications of history...the 1960's were a time of cultural upheaval and along with that came an amazing movement of art and music. Where is that spirit of creation now? Sure, once again we are at war, and there are those that oppose it, and there are various social movements working toward their various goals.
But where is the music that captures the spirit of the country? And where is the counterculture that was such a huge part of the 60's? People are against the establishment again, but what do we see of it?

I mean everyone just seems to take sides, what if you have mixed beliefs? Why must we label ourselves under a political party all the time? I mean we all have our own beliefs, can't you be a your own person? Personally i am like a mixture of both because there are things on both sides that i agree on.
