This country was built on capitalism.
You reap what you sew.
There are to many loons that want to turn this into a socialist or even communist country. The lazy want to be provided for from womb to tomb.
Now, I surely don't want to see anyone die for lack of health care, but I will tell you.... they wont. Any public hospital in every city in this country already has to treat you ... insurance or not.
This concept of National Health care will just ruin the quality of care in this country.

that is my question. I even have marvelous inner maximum coverage, and that i be attentive to human beings interior the ecu and American Pharmaceutical industries. The "socialized" drugs in worldwide places like Switzerland, and France are of very intense high quality. The liberal democrats won't be able to enact a single-payer equipment whether they wanted, so at maximum that is going to offer opposition and incentive to coverage companies to get off their asses and get fees below administration. via the way, administrative fees in inner maximum coverage are not below those of Medicare. We require those with automobiles to insure automobiles, isn't a individual greater considerable than a automobile? Glenn Beck suggested the U. S. wellness care equipment develop into the final interior the worldwide, yet while he had some problems along with his surgical operation, he complained that it may no longer even guard the prosperous and did a team of exposes at CNN. Cable information is a destructive source of advice for such an considerable undertaking.

I'd be happy if someone would get involved and make sure that there is some health care reform. The cost of health care has nearly doubled in the last 5-6 years. It is getting to the point where the average American can't afford it or if they can, they have no money for savings. Many have to us credit cards to survive.

Because that will enable them to have preventative care, rather than critical care at emergency rooms. The critical care they recieve costs 3-4 times more than the preventative medical care necessary to avoid the critical care, and guess who pays for those patients when they don't have insurance? That's right, you and me. In the long run it will cost hospitals, doctors, insurance companies, and the government less to care for EVERYONE. Who will benefit from that? That's right, you and me.
In addition, healthy people tend to work more and are overall just less desperate. This means that they will generally be productive members of society rather than a dreg on society, IE, criminal justice system.

Because not everyone who receives federal aid is unemployed and lazy? Because as a civilized society, we shouldn't put injured laborers out to die because they can't work for a while. Because children should not go without medical aid because their parents can't afford it. Because we are being taxed anyway, to pay for everything from bombs to bulletin boards, so why not use some of the cash collected from the people to keep the people healthy. (healthy workers are productive workers)

it is a dead issue. the insurance lobby will not allow it. people need to realize the lobbyists and corporations control both parties. the other social programs you mention will continue. right or wrong America is a socialist, capitalist country. that makes it what it is.

The same reason it provides military, fire protection, policing, a highway system, education, etc.
Just think...if your particular corporation did not have to provide healthcare as a "bennie" how much more they would pay you as an incentive. Also it is not just poor people that have no access to affordable healthcare. Due to the recent surge in healthcare costs many companies are electing not to cover employees with healthcare. Now, if your company does that...tell me, would you be able to afford a nominal 50,000 operation? (that's cheap in healthcare standards.)

You're being forced to pay more for your healthcare because of the number of uninsured people in this country.
Just a thought.

Right I am tired of lazy people being so highly regarded in our society. MOST people are poor because they have no desire to better themselves and/or their situation. Period.
