With many nations showing keen interests in nuclear weapontry, The crisis in the mideast and in africa, and now I wonder if Iran is going to try to attack the US in Iraq.

Do you think it's going to get worse, possibly towards another world war? Or will it get better?

So how would you help fix the governement?

1. Stop any form of welfare. Only the strong survive people have been abusing this system since its existence.
2. Lower Taxes.
3. Taxes can be lowered by privitizing government activities so that they are much more efficient....so privitization
4. Get rid of NAFTA. (I like cheap prices, but if that means illegal mexicans and the end of the middle class then I don't mind paying a few extra bucks)
5. Legalize gambling! Other governments have done this and it hasn't "supported terrorism" The governement would make billions of dollars off of this.

The politicians everywhere being corrupt without any exception, very often they mislead people. They less seek good of the people or nation. They neither follow their religion or their own conscience. If they are not upright how can they decide on such matters such as reliogion, ethics, moral issues; such as gay marriage, euthanasia, divorce? Moreover they are not the authority nor they are qualified to decide upon such matters. Should we depend on them to solve religious, ethical, spiritual problems?

And here I was thinking that conservatives are for "smaller" government.
I guess it's a "smaller" government meaning that it's OK to cut regulations and taxes for large corporations, but it's also OK to interfere in the private lives of citizens.
How hypocritical.

Early on that anti-war people were just the same old anti-Bush people. Even after we found no ready-to-use WMDs, support for the war didn't drop much and most people agreed we should stay and finish the job - Bush DID get re-elected.

But now the war drags on, our casualties mount, and the extremist factions continue their violence.

And now the criticism of the war mounts.

Sounds a lot like Vietnam.

In both cases we could have just bombed the opposition-controlled areas to the ground and won, at the cost of a few hundred thousand more 'civilian' casualties. When we went that route on a lower scale we did better in both wars and the President fared better in the polls: the Leftists became more vocal but the anti-war side was not more numerous. It became more numerous only when we LOST which is because we STOPPED bombing and DIDN'T cut the water supply to Tikrit, etc... Bush polls better when we do this in Afghanistan too.

Seems the real beef is with losing, not lies.

Do u agree or disagree that Bush has filled the American public w/enough bulls**t? Clinton may not have been FDR like he wanted to be, but NOBODY DIED WHEN CLINTON LIED!!! If Bush wants to send 20,000 more troops over, why doesn't he send his daughters instead of letting them become the next Hilton sister equivalent? IMPEACH HIM!!!!

I hear a lot of blame going to president Bush, and a lot of blame going to the congress... But are they ultimately responsible in a democracy/republic? What do you think?

The new CIA report says the Iraq war has made the terrorism threat worse, increasing the risk we will be attacked again! Should we put ourselves into even more debt so that we make the threat from terrorism more dangerous?
