The health care system in the whole nation is messed up here so I don't doubt it it's better somewhere else.
It is all about politics. Be it at the medical level or administrative. Who wants to spread out budgets for the healthcare when you're overspending in the military ?

There has to be some evidence that the system is better there. I do know that the Netherlands is infamous for killing terminally ill patients that they think will just run up bills.

Would you like to save money like that? Hell, we could just do what North Korea does, and kill every sick baby that's born. That would save a ton of cash!
