By the way. they got their guns back, and this was just a ploy so people (public) will think that the Mexican gov't is "really"(?) looking into police corruption. The reason (in case you did not know) they had their weapons taken was so they can run serial numbers and ballistics checks to see if any of these weapons have been used in any illegal manner. Its all a joke, but they can try and make themselves look less corrupt. The sad thing is, that the whole country in so many levels are so corrupt, that when they claim they are going to do something about it, it still reeks of corruption. They have a lot of work to do to really impress me..???

Lethal force is not always the answer.
What you prefer they carry AK-47s like the PGR, the mexican federal police, or worst yet, Berettas 9mm and 12 gauge shotguns like the school police here?

Only will tell us how series the government of Mexico is in fighting crimes, drugs smugglers, assassins, etc. I don't think that they know the series of the problems, maybe because they have other interest in the situation that they don't want to jeopardized or is it ignorant???
