Add that to the few hundred billions he already has used. The guy is totally losing it, it's a compulsive obsession at this point and he refuse to listen to his own people, the people who voted for him to Lead them, and those who didn't vote anyway.
$245 B will go in flames in a few months. Imagine what it can do for us here: new hospitals, new schools, new jobs, new research to fight STDs and Diseases, new security equipments for borders and airports.... and so on. What happened to poor Katrina. Can't he ask to unblock a couple of Billions to help that area ??? just a couple dammit.

Don't you think that if they stock-piled that kind of money up and used it to find a reliable new source of energy that the war would not have a cause?

Pay for it now or pay more later. The problem with pulling out before the Islamists are under control is that we know what they will do once they are unopposed.

You could fault Bush for listening to those screaming Leftists marching up and down the street with signs saying "No War for Oil". Those people insisted we pay out of our own pockets, now they are crying about it. They are idiots who should be ignored.

Other nations are being paid in oil to rebuild Iraq.
