There is a civil suit pending right now because a black woman had some problem with her credit and she was turned down because of her "bad credit." There is another with the exception that she is a white female. There have been companies that have been sued over this and lossed. In those cases the companies changed their policies on credit checks for hiring especially if it does not involve money or management.

does anyone else think we should close the border to canada too? we all hate mexicans because they take the jobs that we don't want. it would be our worse case scenario if canadians took the jobs that we actually wanted. does anyone else see that american is slowly being taken over by foreigners? each group of people, iraqis, mexicans, blacks, and now canadians? when will this stop!

It sure seems like they are saying, just anyone should be allowed in. If the police stop any of them, the term profiling comes into play. Are the pro legal turning American into a nation where we we're once a nation of laws ? They are being caught at the border every day other people than Mexicans. When there is panic in the air will they want law and order or countinue to play the race card? And say they only want a better life?

Perhaps a pre-emptive strike on his US military ("cannon fodder") would be appropriate!

In Jan of '06 I received a DWI in Dallas. I then received a dui in OK that same month before I had been to court on the DWI in TX. I went to court in TXMarch 8 and was given 2 yrs probation. I then got another DUI in OK on March 28. On April 4th I checked myself into a 6 month residential rehab. During this tim I mailed in a report to TX stating that I had been arrested again for DUI in OK.
I spoke w/ my PO in TX several times during my 6 months there. They said that I was exactly where I needed to me and I faxed them proof of residency and of graduation. I went to court in OK on Nov 11. Both of my DUI's in OK were put on a defferred sentence. My PO in TX even probated my fines and comm serv. for my time in rehab. During this time my probation was transferred several times and I spoke with several different people. Yesterday I got a letter in the mail saying that a warrant for my arrest had been issued because I had violated my probation. Could this be a mistake? HELP!!!

If our goal is not accomplished the Islamists will attack. It will not be long after that that some other country will invade.Which country that will be I don't know. The world will not settle for us simply not being a superpower it will actively seek our total ruin. You can look forward to getting your chance to fight right here at home.

Vote for who you think will get the credit for Bush's plan:

1) The Pentagon (who came up with it)
2) The Iraq Study Group (who wanted us to cut and run)
3) Democrats (who have been saying add more troops all along)
4) McCain (who called it Bush's plan and supported it)
5) Bush, who is actually using the same plan he used in Fellujah

or, choose from these fine options:

6) Democrats (who think our troops are a bunch of failures anyway)
7) Democrats (who think our service members can do their jobs better from Okinawa)
8) Democrats (who went into the service after failing college)
9) Liberals (who think Saddam's genocides aren't big enough, we should have gone to the Sudan and Darfur instead)
10) Liberals (who think Bush is an idiot and can't win, even if he does)
11) Republican cowards (who are, as we speak, voting against our troops)

Is it the amount of money you accrue in your life...

the amount of material things you acquire...

maybe it's having caring, loving family and friends....

Is it knowledge....

Maybe being politically aware or informed...

Living in peace....

Or maybe success is having power over other ppl...

Could success be having faith in a higher power....

Be able to let go of expectations...

Maybe seeking and finding a level of higher consciousness...

Finding serenity...

Seriously, what is success exactly?

My husband's stepdad and mom took out four credit cards in his name and maxed them out and never paid a dime. We always pay cash for everything or used a credit card I had and didn't find out until 2 years later (this past summer) when we were buying a house. At that time his stepdad was dying of pancreatic cancer. We still confronted his mom about it and she said that she knew we had good jobs and could pay for the credit cards and they took them out to pay for their transmission, bills, etc. We told her if she would have asked us for help, we would have, but they didn't even tell us about the cards and now they've ruined my husbands credit! We settled with 2 companies, but still have two more. His stepdad died in October and she received an insurance settlement. When my husband asked if she would help us settle with the other 2 companies, she threw a fit and acted like we were trying to steal "her" money! Now we have decided to take legal action. What should we do first?

the basic thing holding iraq together are the so called insurgents, they protect the communities they live in. by arresting or killing them the us troops inviting rival groups to kill either the sunnis or shiites. The shia iraqi military is actually a death squad meant to kill sunnis so when they sweep suni communities clean of insurgents violence against common people just goes up as there is no one left to protect the community from the so called iraqi soldiers. And vice versa. so more operations actually means more violence.

Ha! I know silly question but I'm bored.

I notice that the Left likes to throw the fact that President Bush was a cheerleader to make fun of him. BTW, I'm a former cheerleader and I always hear the stereotype that we're airheads. I guess his silly quotes like "decider" and what not reinforces that notion but it doesn't bother me. I know I'm a bright and beautiful girl.

As I'm sure many of you other brits will know that judges have been told to only send the most dangerous criminals to prison because of over crowding.

Now in a country where we are taxed everywhere, ignored, and penalised for doing everything i ask you this question...

Is now the perfect time to stop paying taxes and demand the government sorts itself out? They won't send us to prison because of over crowding.

Thoughts?

This isn't my insinuation of being 'for' or 'against' but with alot of politicians promising to be harder on illegal immigration and such, and citizens protesting against it, I wondered what does their presence here actually cost us and does it really outweigh deportation. I imagine with no card and such you can't really take away too many jobs from anybody or take any college entrance spots. Even non-citizens with work or school visa's can't get loans and so forth under many circumstances so its impossible for an illegal one to get it. So what do you think we pay for? Im not really asking where you stand so much as the logistics of their impact on american society.

I figure their perceived toll on society must be very great if we are the same people who believe imposing democracy on the rest of the world is in their best interest, that we need to give more and develop poorer countries but we don't want to open our own home to help them out in the process. Is this hypocritical?

It was a long time ago but I had gotten a DUI in like 96 or 7 and I did the strip search thing and I was moved to another facility and they wanted to do it again with the window and the male officers standing right where they could see everything. I refused to do it and was punished. Its not like I was a druglord or something. They took all of my clothes and I hid in the corner of my cell so no one could see me It was a small concrete room 6X6. I only had a couple of Mickeys with my bro because he needed support. Two. Im too petite. The judge was cordial though. I was stuck with murders. etc.
