I don't think that has been scientifically proven. If you know it has though I'd love a link to check it out for curiosity's sake, feel free to use my email. What I know has been proven is that women use both sides of their brains much more than men do. We probably both watched the same special on 20/20 or whatever show it was on, but I remember the IQ status being fairly equal. I remember a few of the differences as being that women read people better in general, tending to be right in their snap judgments of people more often. Women automatically assess and file the "small" stuff like body language and voice inflection for instance. In any case, I agree with you about Hillary Clinton, she is a great hope for our country and I'll be working hard on her campaign.
It's funny, I preread some of your answers and the whole thing about women being too emotional or the one guy who said a nuke will off every 28 days? Now those people aren't the brightest bulb in the box. A woman who had PMS problems and was too emotional would never have reached the heights Senator Clinton has. These are the same folks who say she's cold and calculating too, so which is it? Thinking she'd be too emotional to handle a crisis due to her gender is akin to thinking a male President would be surfing porn while he's waiting for the launch codes. Ridiculous and over the top, to say the least.

Smarter in what way and where are your sources? Let me tell you, having looked at a variety of scientific studies on gender differences and intelligence...it depends on who did the study, what exactly was studied, what (or who) the sample was, etc. FYI. It depends primarily on BIAS. So, that said...
While I agree that Hilary Clinton is smart and highly educated, and that she could potentially bring good changes to our country...there are several factors that may warrant Senator Clinton to not even attempt to step up to the debate plate. Do you possibly recall Geraldine Ferraro? Do you remember what crap the old boy's network put her through? Granted, she might have a good standing with national/world media ( A MUST ), but she has to have a VERY good advisory council...she would have to ultimately have a very good support from the "generally polled community." It is a veritable public risk running for the office of President...and a woman has to have more schutzpah than the above average Jo. She very well may have what it takes, but it also takes an incredible amount of self-sacrafice on the part of someone of the female gender...with this situation---but, she might very well be smart enough to not want to step up to the plate, and keep her wonderful work within NYState. My opinion. She will have a lot of past history brought up on Mr. Clinton...it will be shoved into the debate. If she can handle that...with the proper propaganda, she will make it.

If you have an false assumption in the beginning, you can deduce all sorts of logical conclusions which aren't correct.
When was it scientifically proven that women are smarter than men? Last I heard the concensus was that men and women have equal intelligence, but women tend to be better at verbal (God they never stop talking) and at multitasking related things. You can see this because even though women weren't educated and were held back by society 2 hundred years ago, there were still famous female novelists.
Men on the other hand tend to be better at focusing on one problem (opposite of multitasking) and solving it. They also tend to be better at visualization.
Of course it depends on the individual.

I don't know that it's "scientifically" proven that women are smarter than men. For one thing, we tend to approach problems, issues in very different ways . I think men and women can both be intelligent or stupid in equal measure. I also think our differences complement each other and need not be seen as either or.
Having said that, I think Hillary Clinton is a credible candidate for President because of her experience, education, intelligence and political savvy. these are the same qualities that would make a male candidate attractive

I agree about Hillary. She has wonderful qualities, and deserves to be our next President. However, I do not think that it has ever been scientifically proven that women are smarter than men. I have read and seen some studies showing that women tend to be less linear in their thinking pattern, and understand more information going into their ears at one time than do men, but that may be because men filter out what they consider to be superfluous information.

That's not true. Some men have a higher IQ than woman, and some woman have a higher IQ than men. It's not only one gender whose more superior based on intellect. Also, there is nothing wrong with a woman president. However, when you have someone like Hillary Clinton running for presidency, it's a lose/lose situation. She's a communist and a liberal hypocrite who has no idea what the heck she's talking about. Also, instead of increasing our economy and lowring taxes, she's too busy keeping a watchful eye on her husband because he can't seem to keep his **** in his pants.

Experience is a very necassary compenent in my choice for a President. Hillary lacks that.
There is no difference to me if the President is male or female...And I don't think that saying, as a whole, that because women may (or may not) be more intelligent says anything about Hillary or any other woman candidates own personal intelligence. It's similar to saying that boys are typically stronger swimmers so we should have Joe Schmoe be a swimmer instead of Jane Schmoe...When Joe just may not have the talent needed to succeed. Over-generalizing topics like you have are misleading and not helpful in the least bit.

Damn right. She's got my vote. Bald, fat, middle aged white guys in suits have made a mess of the world for over 230 years. It's time for a change. I'm proud to live in a time when a major party is seriously starring down the prospect of a woman and a man of color for the front runner on their election ticket. It's a great time to be alive.

I agree about Hilary but I disagree about any scientific proof that women are smarter than men. Depends on your definition of smart, I guess.
