It was a long time ago but I had gotten a DUI in like 96 or 7 and I did the strip search thing and I was moved to another facility and they wanted to do it again with the window and the male officers standing right where they could see everything. I refused to do it and was punished. Its not like I was a druglord or something. They took all of my clothes and I hid in the corner of my cell so no one could see me It was a small concrete room 6X6. I only had a couple of Mickeys with my bro because he needed support. Two. Im too petite. The judge was cordial though. I was stuck with murders. etc.

yes when you are moved to a new jail, they are required by policy to do a strip search before you enter, no matter if you had one before you left the last place.

I am surprised you were not changed with additional crime for refusing to obey thier orders

You could have easily asked for female officers to search you instead (assuming there was female officers in your area) and your question is hard to understand I'm assuming you meant to say you were placed in a cell full of murderers first of all they wouldn't put someone who was in for DUI in a cell full of murders second after the search they would return clothing they searched. Of course they will give you a strip search when you have been caught DUI. Like others before me said different facility would have to do a separate search.

First, I have no sympathy for you - none, zero, nada, ziltch - because you were driving drunk. My best friend was killed by someone like you when he was 16 and I was 15, and it left an indelible mark on me. Sorry, no sympathy from me.

Second, I have a very hard time understanding your "question," and an even harder time believing your "story." You don't have the "right" to refuse a strip search; they're gonna search you, and it can be done the easy way or the hard way. You chose the hard way; again, no sympathy from me.

Lastly, what's the point in bringing this up ten years AFTER the fact?

Talk to a lawyer. You might have a case.
But if it happened in 96 or 97, you probably waited too long. Why are you asking about this now?

If you are moved to a new facility, you get a new search.

I am not sure I understand the rest of your question. Sorry.

if i were you, i would go to your local newspaper or television news station with this story.

it may be that you will get nothing out of it, but at least you will have raised awareness of this sort of abuse of power and maybe other women in the future won't have this sort of humiliation heaped on them basically because the cops got off seeing you naked...

Sorry baby, but I don't quite understand the question???? But if it has to do with male officers seeing you, then that is wrong and illegal.

That's horrible. what's the question? They need to be sued and flocked within an inch of their lives.

you make it sound like a DUI is nothing...it is something! you could have seriously hurt yourself or someone else for that matter.
