The Sunni/Shite conflict has gone on for 14 centuries. Today is the anniversary of the start of that conflict. Was there long before the troops arrived and will be there long after....some wars you cannot win.

It probably has the potential to be far worse with religious sects from many countries joining together to purge the others, Most of the ”countries” in the mid-east are not nation-states but collections of tribes bent on revenge. The potential for an all out conflagration in the area has many including Jordan, the Saudis and probably Egypt extremely concerned.
And if you think $3.30 per gallon of gas was bad think back to the early 1970’s when we ran out. Price won’t matter. Film at 10!
