Ha! I know silly question but I'm bored.

I notice that the Left likes to throw the fact that President Bush was a cheerleader to make fun of him. BTW, I'm a former cheerleader and I always hear the stereotype that we're airheads. I guess his silly quotes like "decider" and what not reinforces that notion but it doesn't bother me. I know I'm a bright and beautiful girl.

Linking Bush to cheerleaders is an insult to cheerleaders everywhere.

It is not female cheerleaders it is because he is a man and he was a cheerleader, that is the funny part. And if you are a man there were other things on the average that a male would do in a sports situation, um? like be on the team? Or even a waterboy would have been better for image purposes back then. Remember he is much older and back then it was the Macho Man period of life, homosexualty was not legalized and if a man was a cheerleader that would have been questionable about his sexualty? Get it? So it is not that you are dumb at all, it is that you are beautiful and smart and you are a girl so that is exceptable in most peoples minds. But if you were a man it would change the opinion upon you all together. So relax it's all good.

No. Cheerleaders like yourself reinforce that stereotype. Why would any female with any self respect, go out in front of a crowd, jump up and down and try to dance to horrible band music just to uphold a bunch of brainless idiots out in the middle of a field running after a ball, and hitting each other? There has never been a single great man or woman that has come from the ranks of football players or cheerleaders.

bush was a cheerleader? really??? HOLY CRAP. haha. i like cheerleaders i like the dancing they are the best part of half time during the game. plus i dated cheerleaders before and they are always hot. cheerleaders are great they are flexible. that's always a thumbs up i don't think they're airheads or dumb or anything but some of them are kind of slow.

I think Bush's days as a cheerleader were more for fun and jest than anything else. He has made some bizarre comments though, just like all the rest of us. Only difference is there is no one there with a microphone every time I open my mouth (thank goodness).

No, but the President before him re-enforces the stereotype that politicians are liars.

It's not that silly. He thinks the whole nation is dumb or he wouldn't repeat what Ceney tells him to. The only thing I like about Cheney is He's the first redneck jew I've ever seen.

Cheerleaders are smarter than "Dubya" Bush.

Certainly easier on the eye... :)
