I am schedule to take my physicals at the MEPS in order to join the Army. Why do we have to spend the night over at a motel provided by the Army?? Also what kind of test do they do during physicals?

Here is what I will do. 1 bring our troops home witin 90 days. 2 Put in place very low cost health insnsurane for familys making undae $60,000 a year.3 protect a womens right to choose. 4 Give a tax credit for anyone who buys an american car made in the USA. 5 raise the min wage to $10 a year. 6 impose a heavy tax on any company who gouges the american people. 7 place 15,000 troops at the boarder and shoot to kill after 3 warning shots. Build a 10
foot. Wall on the boarder. 8 fund stem cell research. 9 alow low cost drugs in from Canada. 10 give a $ 2, 000. tax credit for each child under 20 yrs old and a $4,000 tax credit for rach child going to college. 11 no more war unless our soil is invaded. 12 Spend 50 % more on defense. how will i pay for this you say. Stop the wasteful spending, cut all pork and and put a winfall profit tax on large corporations. Reduce the spending on the space program until all americans have what they need on earth.

Dems are committed to raising the minimum wage (an insanity in and of itself, but that's an argument for another question), yet they don't seem to grasp that doing so will have an impact on small business, which accounts for over half of all jobs in the US. Small businesses are not General Motors or Wal Mart. They have no way to pass along the additional cost to the end consumer. Sen. Ted Kennedy even refers to tax breaks to small businesses to help offset the cost of a minimum wage hike as "giveaways for the powerful". I don't know about you, but I don't consider the guy who owns and operates the local hardware store as particularly "powerful".

I have a problem in my workplace where 1 person was continually calling me "Porky." I told that person i would report them if they carried on. That was 3 weeks ago.

This week it has started again, and his workmate has now started to do it as well. His workmate also today went in my bag and took out my paper without asking and left it on the table.

I told them to stop and that i would report them to my supervisor. They just laughed and said "go on then."

I went to my supervisor and have made an official complaint about them and said that if it happens again i will seek legal advice.

Have you got any advice for me? Is there any further action i can take.

Looking at my options. Just did 6 months in jail - have 1 year probation to do. No felonies but was In jail for robbery and have a DUI to come up. Am 21.

My friends are constantly being harrassed and threatened by orthodox fundamentalists, recently, since the world witnessed the Zeus ritual in Athens, some of my friends have been very very upset by abuse launched at them, so much that they have asked me to help. No EU laws, pamphlets or high sounding adjudications seem to work, as the assailant groups, which are not officially organised have unspoken church and government moral support in their actions.
