So why is Scooter Libby on trial?

The prosecuting attorney is the villain in this case. I'll go through the facts one at a time so you can see them:
1) Valerie Plame was not a covert agent and was not "outed". She drove to work every day in broad daylight, parked at CIA headquarters and walked into the building. She had been doing this every day since her twins were born some years ago. Her security status was still valid, it just wasn't active (mine is the same; my security clearance expires in 18 months, but I don't use it or need it because I'm no longer active duty).
2) Scooter Libby was never the first to mention her as a CIA employee. We've known for a long time now that Robert Novak has already come out on public television admitting that he spoke with Cheney weeks before Libby even knew about it, and Novak said that at that time Valerie's employment was already common knowledge.
3) The so-called "leak" has been traced back to Richard Armitage and neither Libby nor Cheney had anything to do with it.
4) The prosecutor has known these facts from the beginning and is in danger of being charged with prosecutorial misconduct for proceding against a defendant he knew was innocent.
What you have is an extraordinary view into the way liberals think and act. They are so hateful and mean-spirited that they couldn't care less about the damage they do to others just to make a point or get something they want.

Where did you get your information about,,, Chaney blaming Libby of leaking the name of the CIA agent??? Where do you guy read this information from??? This is incredible!! Mr Chaney didn't blamed Libby, he's being tried for lying to the FBI,,,, they just claim. Now they have to prove it.. and we have to wait for the result and then make all the opinions that you feel fit.

According to the news, the white house lied to protect Karl Rove but now that Libby is going to trial Cheney is backing up & plans to testify for Libby.....

It looks like Cheney gave up Libby so Rove would slip under the rador, but as always, if their lips are moving, they are lying.

libby did not leak, cheney did not leak. nor was the agent covert.
richard armintage has admitted to giving the name to the press. u need to learn to read better.
it was a fake story that the dems used for months and now they have egg on their face again. to go with the **** for brains.
