If a store is selling expired food by 1-2 years and you get sick or even food poisoning ....could you sue the store if you have proof that you actually got the food from there and you still have the container the food came into..and the receipt. Could You sue the them? What kind of lawyer would handle this kind of case?

I live in this apartment.....and the owner/landlord...know there is ice on the steps, he is at the apartment everyday, so lay out any salt or anything, and to top it off the handle/post where you can hold on tofor some support is broken. And he didnt fix that either. If someone slipped and hurt themselves could he be sued? And if one of his tenants do sue him, can he raise there rent or possible kick them out? What kind of lawyer would handle this?

Each day I see tow trucks driving above the posted speed limits.. other times weaving in and out of traffic at high speeds... This morning I saw one drive past a red light though no camera was mounted on the signal... Are they exempt from minor trafic rules when responding to an emergency?

If the government managed healthcare, it would need roughly $10,000 per year per person (not counting the illegal aliens) in escrow, and if all were insured, isn't that $3,000,000,000,000? When has the government had $3,000,000,000,000 laying around--per year?

That's outrageous you say? Cut it in half then. It is still $1,500,000,000,000.

And this is only one program out of thousands. I don't see how we're going to be able to continue to pay for all these programs as they all grow out of control, unless we bring rugged individualism back in fashion.

3 trillion is 3,000 separate stacks of one-dollar bills from the earth to the moon.

seems to me i remember them complaining about that too when it was done.

and why would they support it? they dont think iraq is linked with terrorism then they cant support attacking afghanistan.

afghanistan wasnt used any more than iraq was for middle east terrorists.

I have done 6 months in jail and am now on probation so I've been told I wouldn't get in but if I did ...

How tough is basic training - have heard it's easier now than it was? I'm 21, fit enough but I smoke, drink a bit. No drugs.

How many hours are you 'trained for'? Is it constant pressure or do you get some time out? What can they do if you f**k up?

Thanks

Pelosi uses her grandkids as a front. She uses them to make ppl think she has morals and family values. Her record shows the truth on where she stands. You cant be catholic and pro-abortion.

I'm filling out an application for college and I came across some ambigous questions. I was arrested when I was 16 for a misdemeanor crime in highschool (fighting). I was suspended from school. I am now 23. Would I have to answer yes* to "A" since it was in highschool? I was arrested for a dui when I was 20 ,but the case was dismissed because the lawyer never showed up to court. I never had the record expunged, would I have to answer "yes" to "C"? Is it considered a criminal proceeding? Thanks so much!!

A. Are you currently or have you ever been subject to disciplinary action for misconduct at any educational institution?
Yes No *

B. Have you ever been charged with or convicted of a felony?
Yes No *

C. In the past 10 years and including any pending charges, have you been the subject of any criminal proceeding other than a minor traffic violation?

Listening to the one-tone president you would be forgiven for thinking it is a new concept which needs tackling aside from all other threats.

The Spaniards, British, Indians etc have lived with this problem for years... I don't believe any of them used it as their main Foreign Policy tract.

Not to mention our own home grown bombers, McVeigh, various KKK morons, some Black Power movements... been there for generations.

I am in the middle of a history project where I have to answer the question "why should we remember WW1?".
Me and my group have made a film and a leaflet about world war 1. However, I am stuck as to why we should remember...
I have a few reasons such as they risked their lives for us & they deserve respect for the conditions they lived and worked in.

Can you think of any more reasons?
Or, can you give ma an overall answer as to why we should remember?

Thanks
