I mean we're spending billions on war, importing yet more poverty (re amnesty) to add to our already impoverished nation, and extending government handouts not only to born Americans but to anyone from anywhere who decides to come here. I just don't see where anything else can happen in the not so distant future. If I am wrong, please enlighten me?

i have a friend (NO! its not me) who is getting a little too close to her doctor. he is a PHD psychologists and is seeing her for depression and help with her out of control son. they have developed a friendship and now she wants to divorce her husband saying she was never in love with him! this doctor is into the "hollistic" theory and is a regular hippy. in fact, he is a piligamist with two wifes and is about to have a third this summer. my friend thinks this guy walks on water and is her savior. she spends weekend over there rather than at home with her husband. they have barbeques, drink together, have parties, etc. she spent the holidays with their family instead of her own!!!! i think she is being brainwashed by a "jim jones" wannabe cult leader and he is detroying her life rather than helping her. my gut tells me he has a hidden agenda. where can i find laws on ethically correct practice for doctors? any websites? none of this sounds right and i need proof that it isnt .

I am taking someone to Small Claims court in Washington DC.
They have already used legal counsel.
If I lose, will I have to pay their attorneys fees?
Are there any other fees that I will have to pay?

Why don't the Democrats offer us a PLAN for IRAQ instead of just saying we are wrong?

The DEMOCRATS were calling for more troops a few months ago and now that we say we'll try it - they say NO.

WHY DO THEY ONLY WANT TO DO THE OPPOSITE of what we are doing?

Seems like a ham-handed attempt on the part of the right to appeal to anti Arab-named tendencies. The man goes by the name "Barack Obama"....yet some wish to seize on his middle name. Hussein. And "rename" him. Why do you right wingers always expose yourselves as bigots so well?

It's 2007. Thought you would have learned how to hide your racism better by now.

Just keep it up. Please just keep it up!

Seems like every time I debate a Lib and the issue of unemployment comes up, he or she insists that the unemployment rate doesn't count people who have been unemployed for over a year because their benefits have run out. The BLS website explains quite clearly how unemployment is tallied and it has nothing to do with benefits. If you're out of work, ready to work and looking for work, you count as unemployed, even if you've been unemployed for eight years, regardless of whether you qualify or ever qualified for benefits - it has nothing to do with benefits.

I explain this to these Libs and they insist that the BLS is lying because it's "part of the Bush administration." The BLS is part of the Census Bureau - if you're not going to believe them, what will you believe? Do they think the National Weather Service is lying about the barometric pressure at Logan Airport?

my hubby works 48-60 hrs a week and is on salary.. someone told us that he can only be on salary if he is a supervisor (which he isn't.) on his paystub he gets each week it says he works 40 hrs even tho he works much more. when he goes to his boss , he says that if they just paid him for his hours and overtime , the company would go broke.. my hubby has been at this job for 6 yrs and has a love/hate relationship with them.. he make semi good money (around 50,000 yr) and GREAT benefits. is it against the law what they are doing? this is a big company with big contracts (million$$ contracts) Does anyone know if is is true that only supervisors can get salary? if it is true what can we do about it?

We've heard the pope threatening to withhold the sacrament from those politicians that don't vote in accordance with Catholic beliefs. Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell have both called on Evangelical Christians to "take back America" by electing leaders who promise to vote on social issues based on Evangelical beliefs.

Is this not a direct violation of their oath of office, in which they swear to uphold the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, and represent all members of their constituency- not just those that share their religious beliefs? Is a person that is incapable of serving the public by voting on an issue based on the law as interpreted by our court system, rather than popular opinion and personal beliefs, not morally obligated to bypass public service?
