If you at least know what base he is stationed on you can start there. A couple different things you can do to REALLY spin some heads. 1) go to the Bases home web page, there should be a link to email the Base commander TRUST ME heads will spin. 2) contact the local base MP's with his name and rank and see what they can offer. The Army doesn't tolerate domestic violence to any degree...PERIOD!

Go to social services in your local community.
Contact the local police and report the chocking.
Contact the base commander.
Contact the military police on the base.
If you get an unsatisfactory result, contact the newspaper and television stations. A story about a soldier abusing his daughter is too good to pass up.
Be prepared for the world to fall down on him. If there is any evidence he'll be serving time AWAY from his daughter.

If you know his unit that will help you track him down. However the name of the CO really isn't necessary. You can call the MPs and give them his name and SSN and they can track him down. If your daughter isn't wanting to go that route, try and talk her into getting in touch with her bases family services office. They programs specifically for abused spouses. If I remembered correctly around June the army started a program where a wife could report the abuse, receive counseling and medical treatment without her husband being reported to his commander. I hope that this information helps.

First of all -- this is a civilian matter ... and if this occurred in YOUR home, you should have called the Local Police and requested that they file Domestic Violence Charges against him.
IF you have NOT done this, then how in the world is the Military going to find out the truth of the matter? How are they going to verify what you have to say is the truth?

You must be a fool or just plain lying here. If my son in law abused my daughter in my presence he would be calling 911 and begging to get locked up! Try to fight me in my own home? Only happen once and he'd never be a guest again.

Contact the chaplaincy in the branch of service he serves - they will address the problem as well as help your daughter and her husband get the counseling they need.

Your local recruiting office should be able to look that information up for you. She can also (and should) file a complaint with your local police.
