But told me if he didnt he would press charges through you. Is he able to claim them without a court order or can I claim them since I am the one taking care of them financially wise. How do I go about doing this..He lives in Louisiana and I live in Arkansas. Please help me on this so I can file my taxes.

The US has basically a market-oriented economy. And our economy performs better and the citizens' financial condition and incomes improve the closer our economy approaches a free market. Average in the US is on par with rich in many countries and poor in the US is better than middle class in most other countries. We are wealthy relative to the rest of the world and we are constantly increasing our wealth because of the economic freedoms that our citizens enjoy. We consume a lot because we produce a lot - it comes at no one else's expense.

Many other countries have centralized economies. The countries that do are poorer than ours, generally much so, and the reason isn't our citizens' economic freedom but their citizens' lack of it.

The UN constantly chastises us for being "greedy" and says our economic model is bad, yet it demands that we support the countries who do it the other way, and it's always the same countries with their hands out.

Why are they so stubborn?

What's the opinion on having to have a license to have children? People are required to have a license nowadays for just about anything but the most important thing in life - raise children - does not require one. They should make it a law that in the event of a pregnancy both parents should be forced to undergo psyciatric evaluation, very strict schooling and other various seminars to make sure that they are fit parents. Adoptive parents have to undergo a lot of evaluations but natural parents are allowed to have tons of babies and nobody cares if they are fit to even be a parent or not. I think that requiring a "baby license" could possibly help control child abuse, neglect, homelessness etc.

The Democrats have decided, in their infinite wisdom, to give their reaction to the president’s State of the Union address this evening in both English and Spanish. Seems like such a noble and gracious move on their part to include our nations immigrants into the political process. How wonderfully inclusive of them.

But wait just one minute.

Why were the Democrats only giving their speech in English and Spanish. Odd choice, don’t you think? Considering that America is home to millions of immigrants, of all nationalities, why would the Democrats choose just one group over all of the rest?
Oooops…isn’t that a bit…um…discriminating? There are immigrants in our nation of many nationalities but the Democrats feel that only the Hispanic immigrants are worthy of their ’special attention’. That can only be interpreted as blatant discrimination and racial preference balanced. If an American business - or politician - is going to pander to any group other than the American citizen, they should darn well make sure they pander to all of them. And unless the Democrats are willing to give their speech in Arabic, Chinese, Vietnamese, Portuguese, Persian, Russian, German, Italian, and the native languages of all immigrants currently in our nation, they are indeed discriminating based on race.

My neighbor is totally disabled and she has received a bill from a dentist saying that she has to pay $400 she has no other income but disability SSI. They already turned it into a collection agency. She told them when they did the work not to do anything that wasnt covered by her medical card. (But it seems they did do work that was not covered). Now they tell her she has to pay. Her Sister said she cannot be sued as she is on total disability Im thinking she can. Appreciate any help...thanks

I want to know a woman's point of view on the subject. It seems that as long as the dollar keeps going down and naturalized immigrants are taking over, maybe we should learn to beat them at their own game. I sure would love for my kids to own beautiful seaside property somewhere in the tropics or be eligible to work in the European Union. What are your thoughts, ladies?

You can answer this as specifically or a generally as you like. Here are my additional concerns:

Somewhere between completely uncivilized animals and fascism lies the answer... how can we advocate complete freedom of individuals while still helping people and giving everyone a fair shot? Are they incompatible? Especially in terms of taxes, what do you think? Is it fair to force people to pay taxes on something they don't agree with? And on the same coin, how can we advance as a society if everyone kept completely to themselves, especially in terms of funding? Will we ever know?

When the US was bombing Tora Bora claiming BinLadin was trapped. He was hundreds of miles away.

This is one of many examples of failed CIA intelegence. How does a quirky reporter from a small publication find Bin Ladin when All the Bush's horses and all the Bush's men can't??
