If you live a long time away from Canada do you lose Canadian citizenship???

Unless you take the step of renouncing your citizenship you are still a citizen.
Most people don't actually renounce their citizenship unless they get married and plan on staying in the other country with their spouses for a very long time.

For senior citizens: If you're out of the country for more than six months in a given year, you can not receive your pension for that year. But you're still a Canadian!

I never hear such thing when you are a citizen you are citizen thats all...Just when you are an Legal Residence the you have trouble geting citizenship...Look a legal advice for it...

Yes an old law on the books means that if you are absent from Canada on your 24th birthday you lose your citzenship

not that i know.you would lose permanent residence if that's all you had
