The psychological and emotional effect of communism won't be ameliorated or eradicated for at least another generation. The West Germans took on a great burden economically when the country was reunited but that they did means there is not only hope for East Germany but also future prosperity.

all the jobs are in the western part of germany. many people in the eastern side are still stuck in the communist mentality though germany is the third richest country in the world so would it be any better if the full country was operational
