facts at hand today and how illegal immigration is effecting our country, but they would rather drudge up the past and talk about what happened 200 years ago.

Do they not realize that we can not change the past? We can only change the future.

I had no control over what happened 200 years ago...nor did they.

Can't we deal only with what is happening today?

Why can't we do anything to preserve the US as it is today and leave our country to our children and grandchildren as a prosperous country?

Do they WANT the US to become so heavily populated that we can no longer maintain our standard of living?

Should we lower our standard of living to that of a 3rd world country to accommodate people that do not respect our immigration laws?

How many people out here realize that its DEADBEAT parents (male and female) who are the reason for most welfare cases? the state and federal government are tired of parents not paying for thier children, so they passed more strict laws. When the deadbeat is finally caught, it is THEY who have to repay the welfare, ALL of it.

WHY DONT PEOPLE OUT HERE KNOW THIS? How many out here do know it?

Please try to stick to issues, not mudslinging (I know that's not easy).

An example is, Mr. Edwards, what is your position on immigration?

Let's see, doomsday clock, global warming, gas shortages. A draft.
The fact is, after you survive a few of their scares, you realize what a losing proposition worrying is. Don't worry, be happy. If its your calling, then serve your country. But don't sit there worrying about BS.

The old man who lives next door to me annoyed me so I left 30 pints of milk on his doorstep and waited for the police and social services to smash his door down.

Then when they found out he wasn't dead I got arrested for wasting police team. Wheres the fairness in that?

I know this guy that is wanting to go into a very unsafe neighborhood for our area. I am not discriminating, but based on crime and violence rates compared to other parts of our county, it is the least safe. He is "not scared" of anyone or anything, but the guy is a potential target because drives a mercedes and would be considered a minority in the area. This guy refuses to listen to anyone regarding his safety. We are only trying to help him, and he thinks we are discriminating. Do you know anything i might can do or say to try and stop him?

Gonzalez says they've worked out a deal with the FISA court that gives the administration the speed and flexibility to get warrants for wiretaps. They could have done this 5 years ago. Why now?

John Dean (Nixon's atty) said that in discussing the warrantless wiretaps Bush is the first Presidentto publicly admit to an impeachable offense.

If the warrantless spying was legal, as Bush claims, why did he change policy to do it according to the FISA law?

Impeachment?
