She has 2 drug prescriptions that she needs. They are clearly made out to her but I'm worried she won't get them.

She will recieve them. Send it by recorded delivery. There is no customs control within the EU, so this will not be a problem.

You can record the delivery. The Royal mail will pass responsibility to Parcelforce or another courier. I usually post Parcels to France and it has never been a problem.

However if your from the US, then this might be a bit complicated as the US is not part of the EU. If the medication is for your mother, then also post the precription and make sure her name is on the medications. Customs wont make a fuss that way.

if they are in the 'controlled drug' group you may have a problem...if they are not then just send them recorded delivery..but the US is not part of the EU...hope your mum gets the meds she needs

where are you sending from, that helps, from the UK or other EU country, no problem. If from the USA then that may be more problematical
