I understand your frustration. But, when you look at the big picture and find out about the state's true agenda, then you can understand that it's all part of their plan. One of the biggest road blocks to creating a new world order (or global government) is the US. It's the last Super Power and it's people are fond of their country. In order to bring it down, the planners have a multi-faceted attack. First, they bring down the economy (look at our debt and the value of the dollar). Then they bring down the educational system (look at out come based education - it's complete scam and test scores are proving it). Add a little of massive, third world illegal immigration (I can't believe they are so open about there plans too). Finally, attack religious institutions and promote intolerance by promoting diversity, coupled with some gun control legislation and bada bing, you have a third world US that is scared to death of tiny little terrorists and willing to do anything for security and prosperity. It's sad but true and the information is out there for all to see, but most won't because they are afraid that it upsets their little feelings. People just want their new shirts from AE or GAP and to watch TV. They don't care about anything else. That's how and why this is happening!

You are absolutly right......it is useless to re-live the past. You learn from it but there's very little you can do make up for anything. Especially since many of us don't have a direct link to any person that was even involved in anything anyway. You just try and not make the same mistakes. "No use crying over spilled milk"...."What's done is done".."there are no do-overs in life"..... I mean you can hardley be considered a "slave" when you volunteer for it. You can't be stealing land you paid for. You can't compare ancient times under modern law. You can't blame people in the past for not knowing about something that we do know about today. Not one group of people was 100% pure throughout history so everyone of us, directly or indirectly can be ticked at some one for some injustice in the past. Get over it. It's NOW we have to deal with as a ground work for the future.
All I know is there is no successful country that runs with no common language. All it does is cause seperation.
There is no successful country that flourishes without enforcement of laws.
America cannot fix or take care of all the worlds ills....they have to start doing something about it themselves.
Every nation that is experiencing an over abundance of illegal and uncontrolled immigration is going through the same problems we are and they are complaining and cracking down too.
Even the most flexible branch has a breaking point. There's a limit to accomodating a mountain of "diversity", even in a "free" society.
I remember watching the Titanic and the panic of people trying to get on the life boats. Ya...they let the wealthy on first and they had room to spare. But near the end they were packing them in like sardines to the point it was too much to handle. When your desperate and on the ship....it looks like that for sure....just one more could fit.....but one more could sink the last chance for all their survival. Thats what I'm seeing. We have a liberal immigration system. We let 1000's in legally every year. 1000's of student visas, and all the rest. We even looked the other way for a certain amount of illegal behavior. But now it's sinking the boat. For those that think there's so much room.....they aren't living in a city where they are feeling the impact. It hasn't reached the full swing affecting their jobs, their childrens schools, their neighborhood, their local hospital or their personal safety.......but it will if it's not stopped. Hey....the rich have already got their fortunes, they have their homes a fortress, their kids are in private schools and like the early people in the life boats....they are safe and comfortable and just have to watch the disaster unfold. The rest of us are on the last boats and there's only so much we can do without destroying ourselves.

I guess I missed the forums about 200 years ago.The post I have read lately deal with the fact that illegals are taking over America and demanding we take care of them. They break the law to come here and spread disease that had been wiped out of America till the illegal thing has gotten so out of hand since 1986 that our prisons are filling up and our hospitals are closing. Our kids education is declined because teachers are help back trying to teach illegals english . Americans ID's and SS # are being taken. Our jobs are being takin because illegals can work for cheap since they have no bills, our government pays all there expenses. You would have to blind or brainwashed not to see that the only ones benifitting from illegals are the corporations who hire them. How can our economics keep up with illegals taking and taking, and not giving anything back??? Eventually America would be a 3rd world country as well. Then where will you raise your kids? Honestly,no we cannot fix everything,Americans have giving to much already to those who wont help themselves.

I wholly agree with you. I am very sorry for some of the things our country did in the past. We're not so sweet-smelling now, either. But that is no reason to roll over and let everyone in the world have their way with us.
We have many proud moments in our history and present, too.
Pretty much like everyone else.
Let's acknowledge and apologize for our past sins, but let's also celebrate our good points.
Let's kick the illegals out, pardon those two border agents, and, if necessary, create a guest worker program that lets non-pregnant workers in for a season (less than a year). If they don't all leave, reduce the number or workers that are allowed in the following year by the number that didn't leave.
If they have a baby here, that's no reason to let them stay. Our foster care system is good enough for American children of American citizens; why isn't it good enough for American children of Mexican citizens? If a parent commits a crime, should they be allowed to escape jail time because they have children? Isn't that unfair to criminals w/o children? Why should it be any different for the illegals?
We need to seriously rise up and force the politicians to act on this. We stand to lose our country. I do not want to become Mexico del Norte.

Let's just hope people wake up before it's too late. If we wait much longer, the whole of the southern U.S. will be dominated by Hispanics, and then just try to get anything done with illegal immigration. They send a million or so people over the border every year and then every ten years or so our insane government tries to turn them into voters, which should show everybody who our representatives think their real constituents are. They just sit and watch, apparently blissfully unaware of the problems it causes for citizens of this country, the ones who pay the taxes and are the victims of this unabated invasion of our country. If everybody who asks or answers questions about immigration wrote to their congressman instead, maybe we could still get something done.

Respect our immigration laws? Our own government doesn't respect our immigration laws! USCIS makes rules that ignore the mandates imposed by the statutes, ignores its own rules and regulations that DO comply with the statutory requirements, and invents "facts" it uses as a basis for denying cases. The administrative appeal process to correct these errors is a major joke -- while you often will get a reversal purporting to fix the mistake, it takes 14-20 months and you don't get to work or stay in the US while the appeal is pending. The arbitrary action by USCIS effectively denies US companies and US family members due process by forcing out of the country the alien workers/family members who meet the legal requirements for staying. It's not much help when the mistake gets fixed a year and a half later; the employer has gone out of business or lost the project the alien was working on, the family has gone on welfare or the kids have started toward delinquency because they were deprived of the income and influence of one of their parents.
For example, one law authorizes alien workers in specialty occupations for six years to be in the US in H1 status. INS/USCIS routinely ignored the time such aliens were outside the United States and effectively shortened their authorized stay by several months.
We need to fix the system so it works before crucifying those who circumvent it as the broken piece of crap that it is right now.

Overpopulation is not the real worry here. Losing our sovereighty slowly to a mass influx of people who are not assimilating is a concern - as is terrorism due to lax boarder security. Immigration is fine and desirable. But we MUST screen EVERYONE coming in and control who comes in. I do have a comprehensive plan that would solve our immigration woes. It takes a while to explain, But it would work. If we make it distasteful to be caught here illegally, The illegal flow will be reduced to desperate terrorists and drug runners. It is much easier to catch these dangerous elements if the common migrant worker illegal alein isn't comming accross southern deserts in the first place. Thanks, jason

It seems that Kennedy, Boxer and Feinstein are in fact trying to sneak through legislation allowing full amnesty for all Illegal Aliens! They don't care because they are rich and stand to profit from it as American Citizens are loosing jobs, benefits, housing and their social security! They lie in Work men's Compensation cases to keep their jobs and deny legitimate citizens due process. Ask me how I know.
Illegal Aliens stop legitimate Citizens from obtaining good union contracts, as they did in Las Vegas, Nevada five years ago, giving them a big whopping 60 cents raise over 5 years! That does not cover the bills that steadily increase and most families are working 2-3 jobs just to keep up!
Welfare for an Illegal who has committed Identity Theft to be here in the first Place? Preposterous..Maybe a March on Washington of Legal American Citizens is in Order!

Very few people who address the issue seriously bring up past immigration history. I would point out that anti amnesty people frequently bring up the fact that their ancestors came legally. If what happened 2 centuries ago is irrelevant then what happened a century ago is also irrelevant, and that includes my grandfather. I agree that we have to deal with the here and now.

I agree...I'm SO tired of hearing that same old excuse, "We are all immigrants except for the Native Americans".My ancestors may have come here form somewhere else a few hundred years ago,but they came here legally as the laws were at that time.
Deportation worked in the past, and it will work again.Let's get started on it.
