They provide a point of view that people obviously want to hear. The have found something that people listen to, and advertisers are willing to pay to reach their audience!

They are examples of the free market at work. They supply something that there is a demand for, and they make money!!!

I would not so much call it an obsession as much as just looking to find the other side of the issues and stories. You see, we don't get it from the "normal" media sources. All we seem to be getting is a liberally biased picture that is accepting what ever the current government says. You know, the liberals are free to start up a few talk shows of their own. I know that Al Frankin tried for a while. How'd that go? Let us also not forget that these fellows are following the meaning and text of the United States Constitution. President Obama should try that for a drastic change. By the way, you forgot Jason Lewis in your list of talk show hosts. Kev

There are a bunch of BS'ers that just tow the party line, whether it's truly conservative or not. Where were they when Bush was running the largest budget deficits in the history of the US?? Silent for some reason. Where were they when the feds decided Americans don't need privacy protections afforded them in the Constitution. Heck, Constitution? Who needs it? They're a bunch a fake, no-good, liberal wannabes who make real conservatives cringe at their stupidity. The problem is, as gatekeepers, they have an enormous amount of influence on the average joe or jane. This influence enables the republicruds to get away with a lot more. The left or welfare side of the state as their gate keepers too and they do the same things - increase the gov, decrease freedoms.

I enjoy listening to them but I understand that they do put their spin on issues. I would also listen to the Liberal talk shows if they came on at a time where I was able to. I agree with alot of the views of Rush and Sean but I think that sometimes they are intolerant of others views and I don't like when callers are shutdown because they have different beliefs. I am Conservative but with an open mind. The input of opinions of people different to me gives me new prospectives and helps me make better choices. Talk show host that want to do good should realize that by gaining more incite we all become better equipped to make good decisions.

They annoy the left so bad the "liberals" have to call them childish names and use their likeness as avatars, not to debate an issue but to make foolish notions about political issues. If theses host were so wrong then they would not have the ratings and sponsors they have.

They're stooges and Right Wing shills whose job is to put a veneer of journalistic respectability on the latest talking points from the RNC and the White House.

It's clear they learned a lesson from Nazi Propaganda Minister Joseph Goebbels: "If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it."

The only thing worse than these liars are the mouth-breathers in trailer parks who believe every word they hear.

They are just another example of the extreme rightwing bias of the American media. If the media were truly fair and balanced, then the country would not have been led by the GOP down the path to disaster that we are now on.

Lush Phlemblob, Sean Handjobby, the Frenchman Mikel Sa'vage, and Shrill Liarly are some of the best entertainers and parodists currently working. And they laugh all the way to the bank (or in Lush's case, all the way to a gay brothel in Central America).

They are the official mouth pieces for the White House, they claim how liberal the media is and how they claim the liberals want us to lose in Iraq. They heap praises upon Bush and company no matter what they will support Bush will no matter what.

I think they have a right to their own opinions just as the rest of us do. But I never lsiten to anything any of them have to say. I have my own mind. I truly believe that there are those of us who cannot think for ourselves, so we tune in to these people and ditto whatever they say.
