Drop the evil aspects of Socialism & Capitalism that exclude the majority! The wealthy heirs fear this no-doubt! For me the more legal citizens that are included "access to Money/Power/Wealth" the greater our society can be.I do think all immigration should be stop immediately for an infinite amount of time.

Should cockfighting be legal if it was like boxing and had a certain amount of timed rounds and no spurs, gaffs, or knifes attached to their legs?

That way the rooster would not die and it would get to do what it naturally does

Since 911 I have never been so involved with the political process as I am today. I have never paid so much attention as I have today. I have friends and family who have no clue how dangerous these times are and the fact that we could lose our very way of life if we lose in Iraq we will have the stuff you see in the middle east ,in our streets.

Any ideas as to what I could do this week before I go back to court to impress the judge before I'm sentenced. Told to expect jail sentence anyway - will be my 2nd and not looking forward to it. I know the stuff about dressing well and all that and have attended 2 AA meetings and have got character witnesses.

Do you think one of the parties (Democrat, Republican, or other) totally represents you and always deserves your vote? Or do you think there are good leaders and good ideas in both parties and actually give some thought to who you're going to vote for?

And if you go strictly for one party, why?

Is there really as big a social void between ratings and officers as my friends would have me believe?

I am hopefully joining the Navy after University. I really want to join as a rating, but feel that it would be a waste of five years' further education when I could have gone in straight from school. Therefore I feel compelled to get my commission first, even though I come from a working-class family and don't seem to mix with the posh, typical officer-types here at Uni. The pay is much better as an officer too.

So what it boils down to is, can I be an officer but still 'one of the lads', rather than a posh, snooty **** who looks down his nose at anyone of lower rank? I'd feel more at home with the boys!

Thanks!

My boyfriend and I are both in the military. He recently got change of duty station orders, and he has to relocate. We live in an apartment and signed one lease. The apartment management is saying that he can leave, but I must stay since we are not married and I do not have orders to relocate, or we must pay to break the lease if I leave with him. According to the Service Members' Civil Relief Act, they must let the dependents leave as well without penalty. I spoke with JAG (military lawyer) on this issue, and he said even though we are not married, I qualify as his dependent since we have lived together and shared living expenses for over 180 days. For anyone who knows about law, or the Service Members' Civil Relief Act, is the 180 day thing true? Do I qualify as his dependent? Any links to websites with this info would also be helpful. Thanks!!
