Why does the government take my tax money and give it to other poor people?

I'm poor myself living in a studio apartment barly hangen on why spend my taxes on others because they made bad choices and pushed out 5 kids or something, so you have problems make mine bigger, the people on welfare make as much money as me in some cases. What can we do about this?

You're just not poor enough for them to care about you. Get on welfare and you can probably get a bigger apartment.

Do you honestly think your tax dollar is going just for welfare!!! Think again. A fraction of your tax dollar does go to welfare. It goes to congress. It goes to the military, It goes to stem cell research etc. The list goes on and on.
Let me also say this I would rather see it go to a starving child then see it go to redecorate the offices of the new congress coming. Even if the person before was only in for one term then got voted out the newbies order new stuff and not cheap stuff either.
I would rather it feed a starving child then see it go to a drug company for research. You think when that drug company comes up with a cure you will get a break on the meds? Think again. You will pay threw the nose like any other meds which have been discovered with the help of your tax dollar.
You think if they got rid of welfare tomorrow the government would give you back that percentage. No they will find something else to spend it on.
There is a ton of waste going on at the expenise of the tax payer. Yes we need to get rid of welfare and all the waste in government spending.

DEADBEAT parents (male and female) are the main cause of this.

The State and Federal Gov are tired of people not paying for their kids, so they made (and are making) laws stricter, able to cross state lines, etc.

It is now a Federal Offense to cross state line to avoid child support.

as for the welfare, when the deadbeats are found, THEY have to pay it ALL back, so no worries.

WHAT CAN YOU DO?? Next time you see a deadbeat, tell him/her 'thank you' properly... or report a deadbeat in hiding...

What bul have you been running up on. If you are poor itos your own fault. Dont blame other's for your mis fortune. The opportunity here in America is great and wonderful. Every American can reach it's full potential.Starting by receiving an education. But the hangover is, that plenty of generations of poor folks have lived like that, cause they thought they were powerless.
Sorry but I feel if you really want to change your future, you're capabable of doing so. So how about getting your *** of the couch, start educating your self. Apply for financial aid, go to College and work like I have done my self. Get your self an education , and a career of your own choosing. It's you own destiny. You own your life. And than start blaming others why you pay taxes. Paying taxes is a privledge. And no country could function properly without them.
