why fight it? Why don't we all just agree to global Sharia law and get on with it? It is the easiest path to world peace I can imagine.

Okay, so its not perfect, but what is? Sin't it better that we just all agree to get along? Picking one religion and one set of laws would fix all our problems, right?

You're tossing that word "inevitable" around like it's a hot potato. How about since it's inevitable that the Shittes and Sunnis are determined to eliminate each other, why don't they do it all at once, and get it over with ?
That, my friend, would be the easiest path to world peace. No other religion is interfering with the peace of the world.

Sorry to disappoint you, but you would be among the first casualties of Islam and/or Shia Law.
Recall from history that the Christian crusades were defensive wars launched after 400 years of Muslim oppression and aggression in the Holy lands and into Europe. Europe almost fell then too.

Islam isn't going to "take over" the world.. The vast majority of Muslims have no interest in doing any such thing. Neither do the overwhelming majority of people of any other faith-including Christians.
Its only a few religious fanatics in any religion--that distort and shame their own religion--that have such anbitions. and they will fail--and die failures--just as they always have down through history.

I agree! I already have my 3 extra wives lined up, and my wife in a full length burka and Oh boy, lucky me if I am a martyr and get my 100 virgins! (I'll give my 30 male virgins to Prugart Djin).
Of course, in Christianity the Lord only personally stands to receive martyrs, sounds like Islam gets the better deal...

my friend you cant be serious, do you really think china the west, india and so on, are going to give up the technologies, stop going into outerspace, and give up everything thay know about the origines of human life, were we came from, were we are going and so on, ,,,,,,,,,,,look thay are to advanced to belive in such things, i praise muslims for there faith, but i dont think we thay take a massive step backworlds to belive in ancient myths, ,,,,REMEMBER ZEOUS, the god of gods, most people in the world beleived in him for hundreds of years.
