If you anyone, the animals lovers like me have read my old post question as previously, and www. petitionsite .com of " don't strip ESA Protection from Wolves" Now the officals are starting the ariel gunning in Alaska, will soon follow into WY and Idaho. If you have not seen the letter of defender of wildlife. They sent me this. Please paste and copy this to pass around to the ones who are the animals lovers. I don't need the answers from you on this one.
Hope you all have a nice day.

Dear Julie,

Another season of aerial gunning is underway in Alaska. And this year could be the bloodiest in decades, with the state seeking to eliminate as many 664 wolves through aerial gunning and other means in areas slated for aerial control.

Last year, more than 150 wolves were killed, shot down by gunners using low-flying aircraft. At least ten wolves have already been killed this year.

You can help put an end to this brutal practice. Please donate now to support our Campaign to Save America’s Wolves.

Because they are such social animals, each wolf’s death can be damaging to its pack’s ability to hunt and survive. Yet gunners can indiscriminately kill any wolf, including pack leaders and pregnant mothers.

Allowing private individuals, rather than state personnel, to conduct aerial gunning also leads to increased wounding and suffering.

We need your support to end aerial gunning. Please make a donation online now to support our work in Alaska, on Capitol Hill and in the courts to help save wolves.

Defenders of Wildlife opposes aerial gunning, and we’re not alone.

Alaskans have twice voted to restrict the use of aircraft to shoot wolves. Not surprisingly, many wildlife supporters and hunters alike consider airborne wolf killing to be unsporting and cruel.

Scientists and conservationists worry that the programs’ goals of artificially inflating game numbers threatens not only Alaska wolves but also the long-term health of local ecosystems that wolves help keep in balance.

Please help us end aerial gunning in Alaska.

Our emergency action to save wolves in the Northern Rockies and our ongoing work in Alaska have stretched our time, resources and funds to the breaking point. That’s why we need your help to raise $25,000 by January 31st to support these and other efforts to save wolves…
Grassroots mobilization. In Alaska and around the world, we’ve mobilized hundreds of thousands of dedicated activists in opposition to aerial gunning. Working with local conservationists and sportsmen, along with our sister organization, Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund, we’ll also do everything in our power to support an upcoming state-based ballot initiative to restrict aerial gunning.
Legal advocacy. Along with our ongoing litigation to end Alaska’s aerial gunning programs, Defenders is seeking a preliminary injunction that would ground the aerial gunners until the courts hear our case.
Federal lobbying. The new Congress offers a remarkable opportunity to finally spur federal action to end aerial gunning in Alaska. We’re already working to introduce and pass legislation to strengthen and clarify the Federal Airborne Hunting Act, the law passed in the 1960s to prevent programs like Alaska’s.
Wolves are dying right now. Please make the most generous donation you can to support this important campaign and help us save wolves.

For the Wild Ones,

Rodger Schlickeisen
President
Defenders of Wildlife

Not the Muslims or the Mexicans. The true danger to this Country is the postering and pandering neo-lib democrats who will tell anyone anything they think they want to hear. That is no way to govern a country or lead a people.

Dennis Kucinich D-OH, is going after the FCC to try and censure talk radio. Why would a lib who loves "freedom of speech" worry about what Rush, Hannity, or "the great one" Mark Levin have to say? I guess the commies are afraid of the truth, Is this even more liberal hypocrisy?

I am in a custody/ divorce battle, and my attorney is getting a little too "friendly" with me. When I went into his office to discuss my upcoming mediation he kept commenting on how beautiful I was. He says he doesn't know why my husband cheated and that he is such a fool. The comments are more frequent now, and I'm getting bad vibes. I am frustrated because I have spent a lot of time and money and don't feel like changing attorneys mid-way. I also want good representation and don't want to p*** him off. What should I say and/ or how do I handle this?

I'm commencing with my first year LLB (Law studies in South Africa) in a few days and I'm quite nervous. I am intelligent and I achieved outstanding results in Matric(final year of highschool in South Africa) yet I can't help feeling insecure. How challenging is it really? Obviously it's not nearly as hard as Engineering or Medicine etc.? Is it realistic to presume that because I had distinctions in everything during highschool that university will be relatively smooth sailing?

Troops pressure Congress to back pullout from Iraq
January 17, 2007
By Renee Schoof Detroit Free PressWASHINGTON --

Pressure on Congress intensified Tuesday to stop President George W. Bush's plan to increase troops in Iraq, as about 1,000 active-duty soldiers and Marines urged lawmakers to support a quick withdrawal and antiwar groups planned to rally state legislatures.

Meanwhile, more than 1,000 active-duty servicemen and women
who oppose the war sent an "appeal for redress" to Congress. Although they're duty-bound to carry out the president's orders, they have a legal right to use such means to express their views.

The statement, carried on the Web site AppealforappealforRredress.org, was signed by 1,080 troops as of Tuesday afternoon, the site claimed.

It urged Congress to support "the prompt withdrawal of all American military forces and bases from Iraq," adding, "staying in Iraq will not work and is not worth the price."

If you dont know M.A.D. or Mutual Assured Destruction is the United State's nuclear policy that if one country fired there nukes the other will causing a stalemate in which both countries are destroyed evenly. During the Cold War it was a great policy because it caused the USSR and United States to work things out diplomatically rather than potentially using nukes because both sides did not want themselves demolished (obvoiusly..).

Now I do not think this policy will work against North Korea, and Iran if they do aquire these weapons.

These countries have extremist leaders that would rather see us get destroyed no matter the reprocussions against them.

Do you agree? Do you think in the current state of the world we need to revise our policy?

Thanks.

Is this true? Do local police work with the Isle of Man police? Drunken night with no one hurt surely cannot result in a record over here?what wil happen if i dont attend court ?

I thought that once a case is settled that I wouldn't have to put up the insurance company continuing to harrass me. They had all these years to do their discovery and object to my injury and treatment since 1999. Do I have to sign a medical information release now? Do I have to provide a list of the doctors I have see for the last 10 years. They want my personal physicians records totally unrelated to my injury. Please tell me what obligations I have since I will be under treatment for the rest of my life. Does this also mean I will have them harrassing me for the rest of my life as well? Thanks for you time.

Problems with a courier?
I recently purchased an item which required delivery by a courier. It was delivered via the backyard door which is always locked when I was at work and was left in the yard.
When I returned home I found the package, but also found that the door to the yard had been forced, damaging the surrounding brickwork connected to the door frame.
The door will not lock. I rung the courier and they told me the driver found the door in this state when he delivered the parcel which I find coincidental and he denies any wrong doing.
If it was not him, then why would someone else when they can jump over the wall with little problem, and also, why leave the parcel in the yard if the door was already in this state when there policy is not to leave items that are in an unsecured enviroment. Please help if you can. I know I need proof that he actually did this but it all seems very coincidental to me.

In one AP news article, it is clear the U.S. is continuing to send forces and aircraft carriers to the Middle East, and some kind of military operation must be underway, specifically aimed at Iran apparently because of Iran's steadfast refusal to halt it's uranium enrichment at the orders of the U.S. and the U.N.

In another article, "ElBaradei, who heads the International Atomic Energy Agency, suggested that a military strike on Iranian nuclear facilities ultimately would not thwart its ambitions.
'What we know is that Iran has the knowledge, but you cannot bomb knowledge,' he said. ElBaradei warned that only applying pressure could prompt the Islamic republic to follow the path of North Korea, which kicked out U.N. inspectors and pulled out of the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty in 2003 and then conducted its first-ever nuclear weapons test last October. 'My priority is to keep Iran inside the system, he said."

So, why then does the U.S. government believe that acts of war are an acceptable means to global peace?

Its not that i dont want to pay even tho i dont know where my daughter is and not seen her since she was 2. I would like my daughter to back in my life. And it was the mother who spit the family by having an relation ship with another man at the same time. We where not married. why didnt they contact me before? I have not been hiding! or avoiding CSA they just stopped collecting. Now they are threting me with baliffs, direct from earnings, everything. Its the first time I have heard from them and i am dammed if they are going to destroy my family now.
