Could you imagine mobile phones in every hand - even rikshaw walas & subzi walas 20 years before! Average Indian's in hand income has significantly improved. Market has grown up. We are more open now and thereby average Indian has access to multinational products. Easy financing of electronic and other goods has raised status of every family. We have world class premier institutes in every sector specially corporate hospitals. 20 years before we were more dependent on government institutes, now the world is of well doing corporates,
There are certainly stepbacks also, terrorism is one of them. If you have an answer to eradicate the terrorism then please attend our president's question on yahoo answers!

To a considerable extent yes. Life has become more hectic, more faster, and more comfortable. We can link with the globe at the click of the button. Though there has been derodement in our cultural values if we take everything in an optimistic way every change is for the better. Certainly we are better than what we were 20 years before.

Yes we are really better than that we were 20 years before. Advancement in Information technology field makes India to achieve a lot of success stories. Employment opportunity was improved as well as poverty is utmost suppressed. Communication with mobile phones shorten our country India in our hands.

No doubt. Since 1991, economic reforms introduced by Dr Manmohan Singh, then the Finance Minister and the present Prime Minister of India, has changed the face of India. Changes are visible and better day by day. I hope India's nasty politicians should not destroy this growth.
