Did we hurt there feelings, so terribly bad, that they went wining and crying to yahoo answers, claiming the thumbs down was "offensive"?

I think you nailed it, liberals are whiny wimps and report when they don't agree with you. Yahoo is run by libs so it's just another way to make this site "politically correct".

I don't know. Until you brought it up, I hadn't noticed. I see nothing wrong with the thumbs up or down system. It meant absolutely nothing other than some people either like what you have to say or don't like it. And I notice the up-or-down is still there on the answers.

Thumbs up or down are the least of my worries.
I don't think it's the liberals who are reporting me for
ridiculous reasons - like not a question or an answer.
Geez!

In 2000 Gore got 50,996,116 votes Bush only got 50,456,169 votes, Gore won, Bush lost. Republicans lost in Novemberof 2006. Who is crying? I am happy that Yahoo answers reflects the majority.
BTW, silly questions are far less likely to get a star.. Thumbs down answers are ignored, I like that. What type of person gets 8 thumbs down and only 3 thumbs up on the answer? Is this Bush's Dog?

Well this bleeding heart Democrat is going to give the Mean spirited Republican a star! I don't think politics had anything to do with it. I like the star. you can write "Hey I don't like your question so I would give you a thumbs down if I could" or is writing that to much work? You can still give a thumbs down on the answers. So you can still be a rude as you want to be.

It was the neocons that got the bulk of the tumbs down - just like this question would have, if it was still available. So no. It wasn't.

This Liberal did not cry to Y!A. I miss the thumbs down feature. This, like so many "questions" on this site, is an unfounded, gross generalization.
