This is at the end of the article and what the sheriff said; very True about white Americans

"I think it's disgusting," Sheriff Joe Arpaio said. "I think of Gandhi who said you judge the morality of a country by the way they treat their animals. . . . I do look at (bestiality) as some type of animal cruelty."

I'm all for ending proverty, but doesn't it seem that some governments in countries like Africa would rather see their people poor and starving so other countries will give them money/aide than to take care of it's own people? This would be the main way to end proverty in each country. We still need to do our part but individual countires should be held accountable also. Some stuff their own bank accounts with money that should go to help the people of their own countries......

After all, with their immense knowledge of fundamental economics, they blamed him for raising it, then lowering it for political purposes, then raising it again. It only seems fair that they give him the credit this time.

Could it be they finally read an Econ 101 text and now realize he couldn't manipulate fuel prices if he wanted to?

Naaaaaaaaah, that can't be it...they still think he controls the weather enough to call down hurricanes on political enemies, so I doubt they suddenly became educated about anything else.

Because if there speeding ,people die in accidents ,and crossing the street. But warning others stops the cops from ticketing them. And i think the radio should be held accountable,in case of death. So i wish people would quit phoning in to report police traps. They are there to protect the innocent, especialy kids.

By my count, arab countries have always been the aggressors in any conflicts with Israel. Do these people truly believe they have unlimited opportunities to attack their neighbors and not loose any strategic territory? That's not the history of the region or of the world for that matter.

the other day, my boyfriend and i were out w/ one of his friends. we were out shopping, when his friend *mark stole an ipod. needless to say, he got caught and was arrested. the security guy caught him on camera and confronted him. now the weird thing is my boyfriend was with *mark when he stole the ipod, so he would have been seen on camera as well. now nothing happened to my boyfriend. now a couple days later the police came to my boyfriends house when he was not there and told his brother that he needed my boyfriend to come in and get fingerprints and pictures for a fight that happened a couple a years ago that involved him. now the funny thing is that he was never arrested for that incident, so why would they need fingerprints of his. they told him they needed them so they could close out the case. could the cop be lying about why he has to come in? could it be for what happened with the ipod?

Every day we see questions from many of you who talk only of liberals and Democrats when you criticize those against Bush's policies and the Iraq War. Why aren't you acknowledging the growing number of Republicans who are against Bush's policies and who are speaking out against this new troop surge in particular? Are they now not Republicans because they are declining support? Do their opinions mean anything to you who have stuck to party lines? The party line is slowly being erased by many who previously supported Bush and now are withdrawing their support. What are your reactions when you see them grilling Condi Rice or see them on TV quietly but firmly withdrawing support from the President? Why do you just continue to lambast only the libs and Dems and not acknowledge there are many in your own party who have changed their minds and aren't afraid to say so any longer?

Democrats or Republicans?
Big Pharma contributed more than $10 million to Republican candidates in the 2006 elections–almost 70 percent of their total contributions. Pfizer gave 70 percent of its $1.3 million in donations to Republicans; GlaxoSmithKline, the second-biggest contributor, gave 70 percent of its $800,000 to Republicans.

Now, Wisconsin senators have taken the lead, along with several other lawmakers, in promoting legislation that would prohibit brand-name drug manufacturers from using payoff agreements to keep cheaper generic equivalents off the market.

A pair of appellate court rulings in 2005 overturned the Federal Trade Commission's bar on the payoffs. Since then, the FTC says, there have been at least 10 instances where a brand manufacturer made a deal to block or delay the entry into the market of a generic drug.

I always use my seatbelt. I make my kids buckle up before I even put my car into gear. Some people feel that wearing seatbelts may do more harm than good. I don't condem anyone who chooses not to wear one, unless they are in my car.
Where I live, the police and other law enforcment can only site you for not wearing your seatbelt when they have stopped you for some other traffic violation.
But the other day I heard on the news where they were wanting to pass a law where they could stop you when they see that you're not wearing the seatbelt.
I by no means am complaining; but what happened to the helmet law? Please tell me what is the difference?

If you're an atheist, testifying in a US court of law, and you swear on the Holy Bible to tell the truth is your oath worth anything? Are there other ways of swearing people in? Just curious, thanks for the insight.
