Because if there speeding ,people die in accidents ,and crossing the street.But warning others stops the cops from ticketing them.And i think the radio should be held accountable,in case of death.So i wish people would quit phoning in to report police traps.They are there to protect the innocent,especialy kids.

It can be argued that the police use radar tickets as supplementary income. A person who makes $10k/yr gets the same ticket as a person making $150k/yr but the former suffers much more of a "punishment" from the ticket. If they want to reduce speeding, there are better ways but what do the cops care? They are getting their money.

Nope we don't care - If the officer is using radar properly - on a roadway deemed dangerous - and the public who uses that roadway wishes to thwart the efforts to save lives. The deaths, serious injuries and accidents are on them. If they lose a loved-one on that particular roadway - they have no one to blame but themselves
