Since 911 I have never been so involved with the political process as I am today. I have never paid so much attention as I have today. I have friends and family who have no clue how dangerous these times are and the fact that we could lose our very way of life if we lose in Iraq we will have the stuff you see in the middle east ,in our streets.

Because they believe all the crap from the liberal media rather than taking an educated approach to things. For the user above me, "TS" if you don't think the Middle East is a bad place, do you need to watch the footage of 9/11 again? Or how about the bombing of the USS Cole? Or even the atrocities of the Saddam regime to his OWN people! The Middle East is very dangerous and is a powder keg waiting to explode. Though mistakes have been made, every administration has been guilty of that. We need to support our President and work hard to get our troops home.

you have swallowed too much propaghanda. The fact that we went to iraq in the first place is suspect, the fact that we are still there mucking around making a laughing stock of america is criminal. I know that there are reasons for attacking iraq other than money and oil and politics, but it has been so mishandled that those reasons and the chance it gave us to remake the middle east have largely been negated. Its time to declare victory and either head home saving taxpayers billions, or take a swipe at iran before we leave to teach them a lesson too. As for osamabinladen, we've let that trail vanish while chasing sadaam, which is also kind of suspect since the binladins are bush family friends and sadaam was much disliked.

Seems like you are wanting to educate yourself on these issues. Go on the Net and look up Northwood Papers, The Caryle group, the Skulls and Bones, and the Bilderberg group. And I would advise doing more research into 9-11.....and do so with an open mind. And, last but not least.....look up as many speeches(on video if possible) that Bush gave when campaigning before his first election. If you are a well balanced person...then I think you will find Bush is NOT trying to protect us.

Good luck.....you have a big job ahead of you.

If he were trying to protect us, he never would have invaded Iraq!

Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 and was never a threat to the rest of the world.

The idea that if we pull out of Iraq we'll see on our streets what one See's in the middle east is exactly why I am against Bush and his policies..His false statements have misled and brainwashed quite a few in our society. leaving some with paranoia !.

What you have is an enormous amount of people who have no clue as to the truth of what is going on. Just look on here and see how many people still think we are in Iraq because of 9/11. This is just plain ignorance perpetuated by the liberal media and left wing who have their own agenda.

Our president lied about why we went to Iraq. Dick Cheney (and the rest of Haliburton's executives) are profiting from this war while military men and women are dying. My husband is a marine and I certainly don't claim to know how to fix the problems over there but I hate how we are over there based on a lie.

Good to see the Bush administration has indeed accomplished "something". Looks like they have successfully kept a few people like yourself scared to death of the big bad Mid - East. That way he they can "justifiably" continue to make money off an illegal war. At least one of his plans work!

There will always be a minority of people that refuses to see what is going on under their noses. If Bush is trying to protect us, he is doing a lousy job, he is sending our people to get killed in Irak and before that he sent them to Afghanistan. Why cannot people see that all he is doing is trying to keep his fortune!!!!!!!!

The problem is the Democrats have never stopped whining about the filthy rotten liar John Kerry not winning the election.
Also you must remember the media is very liberal bias, so no matter how much good President Bush does, they will squash it. The only print the negative.
I thank God every day Kerry didn't win.
