I know this guy that is wanting to go into a very unsafe neighborhood for our area. I am not discriminating, but based on crime and violence rates compared to other parts of our county, it is the least safe. He is "not scared" of anyone or anything, but the guy is a potential target because drives a mercedes and would be considered a minority in the area. This guy refuses to listen to anyone regarding his safety. We are only trying to help him, and he thinks we are discriminating. Do you know anything i might can do or say to try and stop him?

well- I think the main question is, why does he want to go into this area? Does he have a business matter or something to attend to? Or is he just going there to be an @$$? If he's just going to show how tough and cool he is, then you wont talk him out of it, and all the talk is just more likely to make him want to go. If he has a legitimate reason for wanting to go, well, money talks and it might be a risk he is willing to take to advance financially.

Not much you can do.

Just be honest and tell him why you think the neighborhood is unsafe. Be specific... such and such park or street is known for gangs, drug dealing... etc.

He has to make up his own mind and learn for himself.

Sounds like he is brave, let him go and make his own life choices.
He may help the neighborhood, maybe it is a calling.

Some people get their thrills that way.

There isn't anything you can say or do to stop him. No one is immune to bullets, but if that's his choice it's his choice.

However, if there is anything of his that you would like, you might ask him for it before he leaves.
