My business is very small and I had to let go an employee due to very poor performance, bad atitude, theft etc.
The employee has now filed a workers comp claim against my company, stating he was Injured in October he was terminated in December and did not mention any Injury prior to dismisal. How should I proceed I have just recieved a letter from an attourney.
My company does not have work Comp coverage. Would this covered through the payrole taxes ? or do I not need to have workers comp because my company is so small ?

The will probably be used to house illegal aliens when 20 million illegal aliens will start rioting (killing Americans, stabbing Americans, burning homes and buildings, destroying cars, stealing, etc). Not too much different than what they already do. The big difference is they will all be doing it all at once.

I had a friend that had about $50 took out of her lousy minimum wage paycheck when she worked at a convienience store. The reason why was because when gas prices increased, so did drive offs. And she was charged for the ones on her shift. I asked her if she signed an agreement and she said he just did it. Guess what? She filed a small claims suit to recover her money and got back the money, court cost and interest. An employer has to take you to court if they feel you owe them money. BTW the judge verbally slapped this guy around a bit which was the icing on the cake.

I have notice unusual nighttime activity and they are up during the day, such as loading and unloading a van with various items including the balls and boxes. There is a awful burnt chocolate smell coming from their apartment. They also wheel in balls of unknown substance wrapped in paper bags that are huge about 18 inches in diameter. Could this be possible drug lab activity and if so what type?

So how representitive of the general American public are Americans at Y/A?

"Bush’s performance on the Iraq War shows similar low levels of satisfaction – a majority of American’s polled in December (74%) give Bush negative marks – the greatest level of dissatisfaction our polling has found since we began tracking Bush’s performance on the war in 2003. Overall, the majority (54%) say Bush has performed poorly on the war and 20% say he has had fair performance – only 19% grade his performance as good and 5% as excellent."

So, I'll ask you. How do you rate Bush's performance on the Iraq War? Americans only, please.

-Poor

-Fair

-Good

-Excellent.

I am having a difficult time getting work. I will be going to a temp agency soon and hopefully they will help me. But as a plan B, after this semester of college, I may join the military if I dont have work.

Why, first off like all other people, I need money in order to survive in today's society and also to marry a my highschool sweetheart. So I'm trying to work hard to attain those goals except no one wants to give the new guy a chance just cause I dont have much retail experiance or whatever else I need for work. Though I've sold my art during highschool. I was also a human directional, and also an artist assistant. I still no longer have work and need a job.

gah, now I'm just ranting. Anyways I know military provides housing for family and such. Will they do so right after I join or do I have to wait for a certain amount of time? Which branch should I get into and what should my goals be, in order to earn good wages , get education for other jobs, and be safe for my family?

This one is as emotionally charged as religion and politics. Try to keep an open mind when responding. Think about the degrees of so called sex crimes. The worst are the molesters and killers of the innocent. If they don't kill them physically, they do it emotionally. Very sad indeed. What about the guy who is 18 and dating a 15 year old girl. In their 20's it wouldn't even be thought of twice, but because of skewed laws, he has to go through life as a registered "sex offender". Seems a little extreme in those circumstances. He is NOT a sexual preditor. He's 18 she's 15 and when he's 46 she will be 43. Now if he was 46 at the time of the act, then yes he is crossing a clear line. But give me a break on these teenage romances.
