The USA financed Saddam back in the 1980's war with IRAN
He was called a strong man by our own government when we needed him. Our government was in bed with him and are no better than he is.
I am not defending Saddam but ya gotta give him one thing...he could run IRAQ. Now that George w Bush is in charge it is a basket case.
One must wonder how many IRAQI's have died because of the actions of GW Bush as opposed to those of Saddam.
There is no question the USA will humiliate itself wherever it rears it's head...IRAQ will be no exception.
The american people elected BUSH and they will suffer for their FOOLISH mistake for years to come.

I don't find joy in any persons death. however, Your brave warrior looked pretty scared before the noose. I have seen the stony look in brave men's eyes as they have faced death more than once. That's not the look your boy had. I am sure its hard for you to discern the truth if you cant look it up in the pages of the cheat book for your favorite roll playing game. Okay first, its RABID, not RAVID. Saddam put himself in that hole. He murdered thousands of his own people. He used WMD's against his own people and against Iran. His true nature?, he had no choice, he was found guilty, I do not believe in the death penalty, I thin kit was dumb to hang him, even dumber to not search people for cameras first. Hero? The only people, who could think him a hero, are those who believe that senseless murder is okay. Finally I do not believe in this day and age that Hero and politician can be used in the same sentence.

I think you are seriously warped.
Saddam killed thousand of innocents,molested children in front of their parents, and built rape rooms.
He could be considered a modern version of Vlad tepes, who was guilty of many of the same crimes.
If he was such a warrior and hero then why was he in a hole in the first place?
