—There is no good reason why immigration should be absolutely prohibited. On the other hand, the question that the careful restriction of immigration is imperative. Clearly, it is our duty to accept only such immigrants as show promise of becoming capable and efficient American citizens. It is also clearly our duty to accept even this type of immigrant only in such numbers as we can conveniently assimilate. We must not be selfish with America, but we should not be misled by the statement that anyone in has a “right” to make his home in this country. Those who come to this country are personally benefited, no doubt, but unrestricted immigration may lower the tone of American life and permanently injure our social and political institutions. America is for the present generation, but is also for posterity. The millions of unborn have as much right to be considered as have the millions now clamoring at our gates.In the earlier part of our national history free land was abundant .

I have searched the net on interferences with RADAR when it comes to cell phones, the towers, communication antennas. I have yet to find any reputable sources I can take to court with me on a trial for speeding.

Does anyone work in a call center or in customer service too?

Are we entitled to any rights at all?

I work in a call center answering general enquiries, and my manager wants us to "be professional" by allowing customer to scold us, yell at us, curse, threaten, they can basically say anything to us and we just have to accept it.

A customer used tons of profanities on me, i'm have to tolerate 'cos if i interrupt, try to explain or stop him then i'll be blamed by my manager for being "unprofessional" by disrupting the customer. Then the customer starting cursing at my parents!!! I kept my cool n firmly told her "please do not say that about my parents" n she YELL at the top of her voice "HOW DARE YOU BE SO RUDE TO ME, I'M A CUSTOMER, YOU STUPID!!! YOU ARE SO STUPID!!

One of my collegue was told "WHY DON'T YOU JUST DIE YOU'RE COMPLETE USELESS "...!!! I mean.. we're people too, i do understand in customer service we deal with difficult people but isn't there a bottom line?

I received a parking ticket recently & asked for the cop's copy so I can work up my fight against it. Come to find out the cop put more comments on the cop's copy than mine. This ticket is suppose to be a carbon copy of the cop's. My ticket had only this as comments: beige pickup. The comments on the cop's include false accusations saying I was "blocking area to handicap parking space" when I was not. In fact I was parked parallel to a handicap spot about 10 feet away. The area I parked did not have any sign designating it as handicap or to not park there. It was not a loading zone, not a fire zone or a fire hydrant. The space I parked was in Walmart roughly 30 feet by 8 feet and was painted with yellow diagonal lines. FYI I was ticketed for "parking in a prohibited area" in Walmart (in Texas).

I've heard stories of people getting pulled over by a cop because they flashed their lights in an attempt to warn another driver a cop was in the area doing radar or whatever. Is that kind of behavior illegal?

What's wrong with giving somebody else a heads up that there is a cop around? It's a free world (at least in America) ...

And how is that different from a radio station mentioning to their listeners that they should check their speed on such and such a street or in a certain area of town?

Guys/Gals I would never try to warn somebody about a RIDE (drinking and driving) road block up ahead because if someone has been drinking and then chose to drive they deserve to get busted. But come on.... when it comes to warning people about radar... how could that be illegal or 'not allowed'?

How are bars legal, most people drink at bars,how do they get home? I understand if you have a designated driver, but that's rarely the case. Taxis are over an hour away here. Almost everyone that goes to a bar is looking to get trashed(maybe it is only that way here where I live,mostly a bunch of low life alcoholics and druggies) so why do cops not watch people who leave the bar. Why do they not make the person who says they are driving take a breath elizer(can't spell it, sorry)before they leave? It's not worth someones life just to have a few drinks and go home, if you want to play pool, get a pool table, or if you want to hang out with friends and drink, why not camp out together so you can all drink and not have to worry about going home or driving..It frustrates me how bars are perfectly legal, our state is zero tolerance, so one drink is considered illegal, like the ad says, buzzed driving is drunk driving...If the government prohibits brothels and such they can control a bar.

15 IS THE AGE FOR ILLEAGL SEX, BUT IF YOUR 16 OR ABOVE IT's LEGAL. SO HERES MY STORY: My friend he's 30, and he's my boyfriend, we've been dating for about 4 months.
