I believe America is ready of a woman to become president. I feel an African-American woman more so than an African American man. Thanks to the actionsand representation done by figures such as Condi Rice, I feel female African-American political figures will and be thought of more seriously.

Yes. More importantly, America is ready for a good president. And if a woman or African American or whoever can give us that, then more power to them.

America is ready for a president that can lead this country. Period.
Black, White, Male, Female is not a criteria for the presidency. What is: Intelligence, Leadership, Compassion and above all, a proven track record in crisis management.

First of all Condoleza Rice has said that she will not run several times. Second of all, our constitution sets everyone equal after a ton of revision, so thus having a woman president is perfectly fine. The nation doesn't discriminate against african americans based on color, they discriminate against them based on a stereotype that the race brought upon themselves, therefore an african woman president is perfectly fine and has always been fine.

Obama has not one of the Above. American does no longer favor to teach the Oval workplace right into a education grown with hit and bypass over trial and mistake at his mandatory time. even if that human being be Caucasian, Polynesian, Alaskan Eskimo, close by India, Oriental, Latino or Black. It does no longer remember see you later because the necessary adventure is there to get the pastime achieved. searching at an persons race or gender and vote casting isn't the reply even notwithstanding many do and could. the substantial difficulty is what's the persons backgournd and adventure.

I hope so. I think a woman president, regardless of color would be great. I think that is would make a nice change, and I bet whoever she is she will prove that a woman can do a great job running the country. Since the boys have not been doing a good job, I think a woman would be a great change and I would vote for a woman.

It is not about race or gender for this white guy. It is about the message. If she shared my values I'd have no problem voting for a african american.

I don't think there is any question about it. Probably happen a lot sooner if people didn't feel the need to make a big deal about the race or gender of canidates like that is a real issue.
