The mind altering effect of marijuana can be very dangerous to others. Do you want to risk your life because somebody is smoking a joint legally while driving? I realize that there are people who toke while driving everyday; but that handful of people is nothing like the dangers we would face if everybody felt its okay to drive stoned just because it's legal.

If they ever legalize marijuana, the first few years are going to be hell. I will be amature hour on the roads and even worse on the holidays like St Patrick's Day and Memorial Day when you already have lots of drunks on the road.

There is no question that cigarettes are more harmful than pot. If pot were legal there would be a lot of benefits: no more shootouts at grow-ops; it would be a huge source of tax revenue; there would be a lot fewer cases of tobacco-related health problems; there would be less stress on the legal system.

It seems a little unbelievable. What amazes me is that not only is pot illegal, and cigarettes are legal, but so is alcohol. Alcohol has so much more potential to cause harm than a little pot. And personally, I would rather face a driver on the interstate who has been smoking pot, than one that has been drinking heavily ANY DAY!

I would not do either because I am not a type of person that does harmful things to their body! Many people get cancer and other medical problems by smoking, and marijuana is absolutly not the right thing to do b/c of all the harmful things it puts in your body! Hope is helps!!!! Do the right choice and do nither for yourself and for the sake of others!

Govt. can't tax pot. Therefore it's illegal. Govt. can tax cigs. Therefore it is legal.

A couple of pre-points before the weed bashers get on.
1. No, I haven't smoked pot before.
2. No one has died from smoking weed.
3. Weed is not near as addictive as cigs are.
4. Getting all your facts from an anti-drug website probably isn't a good idea.
5. The good places to find info is from college experiments or things written before it was illegalized.

Twist one up, I'm hungry!!!!

It has never been proven scientifically that pot leads to stronger drugs like acid or coke.

It has never been proven that pot causes lung cancer. Not all people who die from lung cancer were smokers of anything.
