no i don't support. i feel it is right time to withdraw all the forces from Iraq .further deployment of forces mean sending them to grave yard only and it is nothing but gambler's psychology , a gambler bets higher amounts when he starts loosing money in previous games.it was an historical fact that foreign powers can not win battle in another country .

well I would like to see our troops come home. If this is what it will take then sure, but I think it is too little too late. What is the alternative? If we leave without finishing the job the USA will be paying for it for generations to come, and that mean we will have to go back anyway. I know the younger people who watch NBC, CNN, and read the press such as the New York Times will have a different view. Shame really, that there is an element of almost traitorous like groups out there spewing misinformation like they do, just to make Bush look bad, as if he needed any ones help. really folks what is the plan from the Democrats, what is your plan, easy to arm chair quarter back and criticize against something most people do not have all the fact too.

NO. Perhaps you've noticed how this war has been run, one mistake after another for four years, so why now believe that 20,000 soldiers, which brings total to about 150,000 as it was about 6 months ago, is going to work. Part of this new plan is to have US troop stay in police stations throughout Baghdad. Do you think this is going to work? It is idiotic, they will be very vulnerable to attack. These people have had a blood fued for 1000 yrs and only we we can stop it is by killing most of them at a wery high cost to us. Ain't gonna happen. We are fighting people that can shot at us and next minute they look like any other civilian. How do stop that? I'm listening.

I'm not sure this is wise. First of all if Osama wants to cause a very hard blow to this Country would be to blow-up our soldiers that are already there, this includes the 20,000 new troops about to be deployed to this Country.
where does this leave the Americans without fire power. This can be done, they did it on 911. I believe the insurgents are from other Countries that hate America This may be what they have waited five years since their last attack!

Well unlike most of you, I realize that this plan was made by people who specialize in this area, and that they know much more about the situation in Iraq then you will ever hear, so therefore I trust them to make an informed decision.

No, it's an old plan. Been there tried that. Didn't work. Have you watched the news the last 4 years?? There is nothing new about this plan. A simple plan wil do just fine : bring them home.
Bush is like a gambler that's down a few hundrend thou. He lost all that and NOW he wants to go to the ATM for 20,000 more!! Are you kidding me it's time to get out of the casino!

I no longer support any additonal build-up or political strategy or
action all of which is contingent upon the success or failure of
the Iraqi government. The only thing I do support about the
war is the poor soldiers who are caught in the middle.

Yes.
I wish we had more but I understand that the Democrats would have completely blown a gasket if we asked for 50,000.
Increase in troops with less restrictions in the Rules of Engagement will help us stabilize Baghdad. That's what we need.
All of you who are opposing this aren't the ones with bad guys at your walls. I am. Just remember that.
