With the UK supplying the vast amount of troops 'on the ground' in Afganistan, Far more pressure from NATO should be applied. Too many NATO countries send a 'token offer'. These countries throughout europe are happy to stand for NATO's values but very reluctant to follow through with the support needed on the ground.

Since virtually every war the United States has been in in the last 100 years has been at the behest of a Democrat i.e. WWI (Woodrow Wilson), WWII (FDR and Drop a Nuke Truman), Korean (Truman) and Vietnam (Kennedy/Johnson) and since each of those wars has cost us many more that the 3,000 dead in Iraq shouldn't you be supporting a Republican if you are truely for peace ?

I mean up until the end he didn't show remorse or anything. He didn't say sorry for all the atrocities. It seems to me that he thought that all the things he did, no matter how terrible, in his mind were justifiable "for the good of the country" so to speak?

blacks consume 14% of illegal drugs in the usa.
whites consume 70% of the illegal drugs in the usa.
others consume the rest 16% respectively.
while these numbers may vary slightly, this is the census information done by a consalidated group of government offices.
CONSIDER THIS: 94% of those surveyed admitted that they purchased illicit drugs from somebody of thier own race. with this in mind, if whites consume the majority of the illicit drugs imported / manufactured in the usa (70%), why do they only make up the smallest percentage of inmates and blacks make up the largest. keep in mind that the usa government documents that drugs are bought from those of the purchasers own race in almost all cases.........ILLICIT DRUGS = ANY DRUG WHETHER PRESCRIPTION OR STREET..........NOT LIQUOR

I think I'm rewording a recently asked question.

Current political lines in the middle east are carved by the after math of both WWII and the fall of the Soviet Union. The lines were drawn without regard to social/religious demographics.

Why not simply carve a new set of nations based on religious and other ideological lines? Of course oil revenues from the shafted new countries would be a cause of concern, but they could always make like Shang Hi (sp?) and have some sort of political agreement for the next 50 years.

Pork soup is back on the menu for homeless people in Paris after a judge ruled it could not be deemed racist.
Organisers of soup kitchens linked to extreme rightwing groups overturned a ban imposed by the city authorities over fears that its handouts discriminated against Jews and Muslims.

Police had shut down food distributions by the organisation SDF (Solidarité des Français) - the same initials as given to the homeless group Sans Domicile Fixe - because of alleged xenophobia and fears of protests.

Thank God a judge somewhere has stood up to the PC crowd.
