Well, I saw Prez Bush literally squirming in his seat when Tom Brockaw first starting his eulogy. Tom had said that when something like this happens that people say a lot of good stuff about whoever died and unlike some, in Ford's case it was true. And that how he brought no hidden agendas, no hit list or acts of vengeance to the political arena. I kinda laughed when the camera panned to Bush and we all saw him squirming in his seat.

Clinton I saw almost cry at one time. I think Carter was thinking oh Lord help me I'm next.

Professionally, they were honoring an ex-president who has fallen.

Personally, let's see:

James Earl "Jimmy" Carter Jr.- I can say that Habitat for Humanity built that casket, then I would be honored with for doing something good, thus further covering up my terrible and ineffective presidency. I wonder if there is a peanut vendor around.

George Herbert Walker Bush - You were such a klutz. You almost remind me of my boy. At least when they fun of me on SNL, they had to make someone up to resemble me. Chevy Chase was your impersonator.

William Jefferson Clinton (Blythe III) - Hmmm ... does his daughter need someone's shoulder to cry on? *Wink wink* I need to smile more for the camera. Is Hilary still mad at me? Does my hair look bad right now? Must look solemn to get extra Donkey points for me, er I mean my party.

George Walker Bush - Lucky ... everything fell in this guy's lap. Almost reminds me of me.

In Bush's mind - gee, I wonder if they'll turn out for me like this and say good things about me?

In Daddy Bush's mind - I guess that makes me one of two oldest living presidents now.

In Jimmy Carter's mind - Uh oh, I'm about the same age as Daddy Bush

In Bill Clinton's mind - Wonder how many women will show up when that's me up there?

In Hillary Clinton's mind - Wow, if I get to be the first female president, look at the send-off I'll get!!

Clinton: "At least they can't pin this one on me...hey, cute chick in the choir..."

Little Bush: "I gotta make a speech? Shoot, you know I'm no good at speechifying in public"

They were thinking , That he was a good and decent man, served his country well. We all should show and have respect for all our president deceased or living without any regard to their political affiliation. THEY WERE ELECTED BY THE PEOPLE We should have no negative response.
