I have a daughter with a condition called Rett Syndrome. Our insurance is denying us at every turn for special care and we need to fundraise so we can get her to a speciality clinic but cannot do so without losing her SSI and medicaid without one of these accounts. Any advice and anybody know anybody who would do it probono?

Special needs trusts are set up for people who have money that is going to be doled out in increments to take care of the person with special needs.

You should not need SSI or Medicaid if you have a special needs trust.

However, the best thing to do is contact a local attorney or your local bar association and see if there is anyone in your area who would help you with this matter.
