The rape of Nanking, My Lai Massacre, Red Scare, Comfort women, forced slavery, Marocchinate, Abu Ghraib

ISN"T THE MILITARY SUPPOSED TO FIGHT THE OFFENDERS AND LEAVE THE CIVILIANS ALONE?!

I am tired of hearing how the military raped women and impregnated them!

As a returned Peace Corps volunteer, I am disqualified from attaining a security clearance. Thus, I am now ineligible for many types of federal employment and military service.

This disqualification is permanent.

Peace Corps never warned me of these specific risks and nothing is explicitly said in any of its literature, application material, or on its website (http://www.peacecorps.gov).

What action, if any, can I take against the agency for its apparent negligence?

This has dealt a devastating blow to my career plans and I'll have a hard time recovering from this. Peace Corps service is strictly voluntary and, had I been made aware of these facts in advance, I may very well have decided not to serve as a volunteer.

No rude answers, please. Having no legal background, I don't claim to be an expert on the subject and highly value any outside opinions.

Whether you're for it or against it, one thing remains a fact. No matter how much you protest it, no matter how many "minutemen" organizations go to the boarders, no matter what you do, the fight against illegal immigration can't be won without the help of the federal government. IT JUST CANT! And when I say federal government, it's not a shot at Bush, it's against any US administration for the past 30 years. Whether the president was a liberal, or a neo-conservative, or a socialist, IT DOES NOT MATTER. Reagan didn't stop it, Bush Sr. didn't stop it, Clinton didn't stop it and Bush Jr. isn't doing anything realistic to stop it today. The feds are completely oblivious (or pretend to be) to illegal immigration. They haven't done done anything. If you know the US enough, you know the golden rule. And that is that nothing can happen if the federal gov't doesn't help. So, inorder for any action to be effective, the gov't needs to take part in it.

Do you agree with this statement?

I would go with Jack Nicholson. After all he led America and the world to victory when Mars attacked us.

Im 19 (not a minor), in NY state, and my mom is always opening up my mail (we dont even have the same last names), not matter what, and its usually stuff pretaining to my union, which is for MY eyes only. She says she does it "because shes my mother", but for mail, thats a tired excuse. She does it so much, i would consider taking legal action (were kinda loaded), just to scare her or something.

AND NO, I CANT MOVE OUT.

So that he can remain in power past 2008? I honestly think he should. A little Martian Law is what Americans need to keep them in order.

I'm looking up a criminal for a report I'm doing. I dont know his name, but he is/was ( however you want to put it...he was captured) a necrofeliac a few years ago and I need his name.

There was also another murderer who was a clown. I need to know what his name was as well.

Thanks =]

The Council on Foreign Relations released a briefing on the drug war that stated current policy is ineffective and that what could be effective is politically impossible.
Is this an example of a disonnect between the polity and our government (perception versus reality),or an example of something else.

No doubt some companies would like to stay in Iraq for decades. And then move on to the next war. It's been very good business for them.

Why not ask war contractors for a little patriotic $$$ sacrifice instead of just the troops?
