Everyone knows welfare can be abused. But who, exactly, are we helping by simply ripping it away from those who DO need it? It's like pills: they can be used correctly, or they can be abused. But how much sense does it make if we take pills of any abusable kind off the shelves because of those abusing them?

Now, before those select few choose to attack me based on my argument, let me make this clear: I am not an advocate for life-long welfare status. I recommend a system that allows those who need welfare to use it as they need it and, dependent on improvement over time, they can remain on welfare from 2 to 5 years. If someone has shown severely minor to no improvement, they will be dealt with concerning why they haven't. Comments?

Guess they are just expressing the strength of their war effort convictions one mouse click at a time. Rather than signing up and going over. It's o.k. to be a coward and just cheer lead from behind a keyboard. But when you call people who oppose the war cowards for not wanting to support something they are fundamentally against, I think that's just about as disgusting and perverted as one can get.

I would honestly like to hear war supporter's reasons for not backing the troops in person by joining them and helping in the effort.

Or should people just send you pom-poms?

Now go ahead and nit-pick, name call, and avoid the main thrust of this question. "Why don't you enlist and go fight?"

And this question is about YOU. Not anyone else. So stick to YOUR reason(s) please. No need to reference Libs or whatever boogiemen you have in mind. Please don't squirm. Just talk about yourself and try to convince others in that manner.

I would suggest president Bush goes to Iraq along with his family members & be with the American soldiers during Christmas & New year. This will boost the morale of the American soldiers. What's your opinion?

Please no Dem or Rep bashing and excuses. . . ..Do You or Do You Not see terrorism as a grave threat to the U.S. and the world ?

Answer as you wish. . .. . .But don't insult our intelligence and say that they can't deliver a nuke or chemical weapon, because they don't have missiles to deliver them. They can ship them or carry them to their target.

Right now the US is failing miserably in Iraq. The leader of Iran thinks that if the USA left and or if Iran took a major role in the situation then they could get the rebels to fail. What do you think?

Many say we are doing a great job in Iraq and that the newspapers are exaggerating the dangers. If that is the case, then why can't Bush even meet with a politician in Baghdad three years after we took the country?

I am talking about this murder in North London where the guy Tom Rhys Pryce was simply walking home from the tube station and was attacked and stabbed to death for his belongings which totalled about £50 in value.

Has really got me thinking that surely a debate on the death penalty must be held in the UK, as how can there be any place in this world for people like these 2 animals that murdered him for no reason what-so-ever and then laughed about it afterwards.

What do you think?

By warring factions of Muslims?

How could we possibly stop such a thing, we know how crazy those Muslims are, they won't stop until most of the other side is killed off, because they are just nuts like that. How can we possibly intervene with people who havn't yet caught up with the 21st century? Each individual's entire psyche needs to change, how can we possibly do that?
