You would need to get accepted by a U.S. college. They in turn issue you with an 1-20 form that allows you to apply for a student visa. Tourist visas are single intent and you may required to exit and re-enter under the new status. In any event, the embassy in your home country would need to call you for an interview. The school taht accepts you will send you a laundry list of docs you need to submit to the embassy with your application.

I believe that you would have to return to your country of origin, then find an education establishment who will accept you in this country and then you would have to apply (assuming that you are talking about the UK) to the British High Commission to gain entry clearance in Britain for your student visa. Hope I have been of some help. Good luck.

Wherever you are, you have to get accepted to school first. Then you take your acceptance letter to the embassy or immigration office and apply for a visa status change.
Done.

Don't think so, why do you suddenly want to study here, can you afford your own tuition fee's, do they not have anywhere for you to study in your own country.
